hmm those are some good ones but Watashi no Messiah-sama gets me every time with
Aina sacrifices her form to return the true power of shinya to save everyone and their exchange of words when she is in the void space
and the biggest tearjerker was of course (major spoiler)
when Lilu who is revealed to be the original PoS and was replaced by haruna by her wish from the Angel of Death, goes on to at the end run back to a dead shinya regardless of her wounds and sacrifices her life (and confesses to him) by using the Holy Mother saying that she "wasnt really dying but just becoming his life" and when the process is complete saying "Say shinya, next time should we both be reincarnated be sure to choose me instead of haruna"
S*** that one gets me every time
And another big one is ** Flame of Recca** when (spoiler on ending)
Recca uses the 8th flame dragon to reincarnate his love Yanagi (who was killed right infront of him) to become "The Flame of Recca" and defeat the source of Hokage and when its over and Yanagi is disappearing and their dialogue is really moving (Of course it all works out though!)
hmm the final chapters of ** Elfen Lied** were pretty sad
and of course ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!!

Quote from genre001
it really is full of comedy, yet at the end there were many heartbreaking scenes
when Takako Ayase finally confess to Seiji Sawamura only to be declined by Seiji. the most heartbreaking in the scenes was when Ayase crying under a lightpost.
more of wen midori returns to normal, and forgets all the events that happened since the beggining of the whole story... that was kinda sad, but at least they eventually fell in love
berserk
all of his comrades getting slaughters like nothing during the sacrifice for the fifth god...
death note
didnt want L to die, he was kinda cool... than they introduce these 2 retarded looking goth kids, which made me cry
elfen lied
the ending made me cry
claymore
when clare's sister/mother figure of hers got done in out of the blue in an instant... that was said, and clare was watching while she got decapitated
trigun
wen knifes died at end, i kinda felt bad for him though he was evil.... it seemed he was avoiding to kill vash considering it was his twin brother
full metal alchemist
basically the ending of the series

It's from an anime not manga...
Gungrave 😢
The ending where Brandon and Harry kill each other.
BloodPlus
I also thought it was pretty sad when The Schiff, Moses and Karman die together.
I wouldn't call it one of the "MOST HEARTBREKING SCENES" but still I thought it was pretty sad.
All I could think of at the moment that haven't been mentioned... I think...

i want to add another "heart breaking scenes"
it was the very moment that hikari and hiro were playing catch at the vacant lot, hikari crying while reminiscing the past of her deceased mother.

Oh gosh... There are a bunch.
I cry every single time I read this oneshot. And it's a oneshot! You cn pretty much expect any of Midorikawa Yuki's works to tug at your heart.
When Gin, brought back to life as a child by a spirit in the forest at the cost of that life being so fragile that he can never make physical contact with a human, keeps a child from falling, and begins to fade. When he grins and tells Hotaru he can finally touch her, I bawled.
So, so many parts, really. A whole bunch of parts in the manga just tore me to pieces, but the end, especially.
This series is tragedy spelled backwards, I swear it. I can't remember really breaking down while reading it, but I read it for the first time in a bookstore. It's just this chilling sadness that makes you desperately need to hug something.
Where to begin? Volumes 3 and 4 were just heart-breaking all together. I illogically love the scene in volume 3 when Rain gives Freya the letter he's written, but he hasn't learned to write well enough, so all he's written is her name, over and over. The whole backstory/flashback with Rain, Yuca and Freya at the orphanage is sad and beautiful, because you know how things are going to turn out.
And in a later volume, when Sharem tries to get Yuca/Ys to sleep by giving him sleeping pills, but he awakes later, delirious with incomprehensible flashes of lives he's seen, and wishes for Rain to destroy him... that wasn't sad so much as it was just heart-breaking and wrenching, imagining what the characters were feeling. I would fill up pages with all the parts that really touched me, so I should shut up now...
Tell me that chapter 50 wasn't earth-shatteringly sad. xD Go ahead. I won't believe you. (And chapter 51, and chapter 52...)
Okay, so... I should put this in a spoiler tag within a spoiler tag. It feels too tragically horrible to just be put in one. Yoite has always been my favorite character, along with Yukimi and Miharu, so seeing Yoite finally come to terms with himself when he has so little time left to live, and seeing Yukimi stabbed while making time for Miharu to get away, and on top of that, reading the end of the chapter, with Yoite gone, Yukimi elsewhere, bleeding and incapacitated, and Miharu curled up on the ground in the snow... I recall being utterly in shock. For a very long time.
And chapter 51, when Miharu, though he no longer really remembers Yoite because of his use of the Shinrabanshou, breaks down for the first time and cries, even though he doesn't know why... that just tore open a hole in my stomach. There are a whole bunch of parts throughout the manga that hit me really hard, but those are definitely on top of the list.
This whole collection of oneshots was touching and tear-jerking. Because I'm a sap, the first one made me cry. ;___;
And on the anime side of things... Wolf's Rain, parts of Sola, and a particular bit in Fate/Stay Night broke my heart.

Hmmm, Its been awhile since I've cried at manga, I'll try to see what i remember..
One Piece
I shed a tear at every backstory, except for maybe Luffy and Zoro (in the manga, when I saw the anime of it, I couldn't stop crying.) However, Chopper's, Robin's and Brooke's were especially just so heartbreaking it left me a little depressed (And yes, dammit, I cried when they lit the damn boat on fire) Its like, every time Oda has to do a sad scene, he keeps trying to outdue himself
FMA
Of course when Hughes died, but also when we find out about Izumi's baby, that blind alchemist who tried to transmute his patron's daughter, Nina. All of them are "WAAH!" worthy events
GTO
When everyone thought Onizuka was dead for true, after he burst a blood vessel in his brain. Everything that led up to that moment was sad, only because I knew he was sick and I kept trying to scream at everyone else so that they could realize it
Refrigerator Chocolate from Nanairo Sekai
I knew from one the first lines "What is the shape of a heart?" that this one would probably depress me like hell, and it did. It also features one of the the only really unique shoujo death I've seen (Midori freezing to death in a mini fridge so that her heart could be given to her son and it was the same one he found her in at the start of the story), but then again, I haven't really read every single Shoujo out there, but I doubt any could do it like this one.
Thats all I can really remember right now. But chances are as soon as I hit submit, I'll probably remember another 🤨

mmmm let me see:
Bitter Virgin:
When Hinako say even if she didnt wanted the child and was relieved to have it adopted, she wonders whether she should at least celebrate his birthday and when Izumi baby dies
Midori no Hibi:
At the end of the series when Seiji finds Midori's dairy . He realizes how much she loves him
and
Saikano :
when Akemi dies, Shuji finds Chise's dair; Well there is alot there I cant remeber atm.
