Hi. As the topic says, I'm looking for shoujo manga or manhwa where rich guy and rich girl fall in love with each other. I can't seem to find one.

The usual shoujo manga I encounter is rich guy falls for poor girl. It does not matter if the guy is a bully or the girl has a bitchy attitude. I just want to find something different from the usual stuff and the like.

I hope you can recommend me with good art also. I'll appreciate if you can recommend one or more.

Oh, one more thing, i kinda love that "love and hate" romance at first. I hope you know what I mean. Please ask if I need to be more clear.

Bumping someone else's thread? I think it fell because there is a reason there aren't many rich boy + rich girl manga... there is no story! They're both rich and like each other--the end! Unless they're Romeo and Juliet, and that's another whole bag of cliches.

There's a fair amount of royalty shoujo if that's what you're looking for, I think. Would you like those recommendations?

Adarushan no Hanayome - love and hate romance; royalty
Rose of Versailles - royalty and foreign nobleman
Hanasakeru Seishounen - rich girl and rich guys (not royalty). Not much has been scanlated but you could watch the anime.
Yume no Tsuzuki - rich girl and rock star

I, on the other hand, think that rich guy falling for poor girl plot is far more likely to become a bad and cliched plot than both being rich or both being not rich.

That's the perspective of someone who doesn't take into account the social quagmire that is relations between the upper class. Just because two people are in love doesn't mean their prestigious influential families will agree to things. And lets not forget any relationship can experience hardship, regardless of social class and wealth. And nobody ever said the two had to fall in love at the same time. Influence among high families can cause situations that might be described as awkward for the sake of smooth business relations that leave people in uncomfortable positions, after all.

The point that I made; the the other user affirmed; that you refuted--it was made on the most general of terms. There are of course exceptions to everything. Yes, stories about political intrigue can handle two rich protagonists. The vast majority of manga stories are not ambitious or complicated productions. The point was that as a generally rule, stories must contain certain elements. Having two rich people fall for each other omits a certain element from a romance... at a most basic level, the story is uninteresting. Now if the writer can supplant that missing aspect with something else; is able to buoy the story up with insight, originality, personality, something--then you have a truly good story. That doesn't happen much though. Most every story (especially in manga) relies on a gimmick of some sort.

Just to add Akatsuki no Aria, which should have rich girl and rich guy romance. This one should make anyone who likes old-school shoujo art happy.
