Dragonball, 42 Volumes, is the longest I've completed that i can think of at the top of my head. I think all of the longer manga I'm reading are all still ongoing.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e(23 volumes) I think... I don't like really long manga all that much. I get addicted and then can't stop reading and don't get ANY sleep and do nothing else... XD

For some reason, I want to think this is a duplicate thread.
Oh well. The longest thus far is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle at 28 volumes. The second longest is Fruits Basket at 23 volumes.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.
