hi (-:
i'm old when it comes to reading bl / yaoi / gl / yuri
but new to forums and the whole virtual community thing
uhhh
i'm looking for recommendations ?

For yaoi, my recent favourite reads are;

the grandmaster of demonic cultivation (mo dao zu shi)
zodiac love (Eto Irokoi Zoushi),
the rib of adam (adam no rokkatsu)
beauties of nature (kachou fuugetsu) (the latest couple arc)
yuuutsu na asa
painter of the night (yahwacheop) (the best art i've ever seen)
ten count
bj alex
yarichin b club
shame application
ennead (waiting to see how it evolves)
hyperventilation (ova)
cherry blossoms after winter (Gyeoul Jina Beotkkot)

so i'm open to all suggestions, particularly with psychological development, bdsm, magical / spiritual / historical elements... and mmhhh not minors ? ? i mean i loved the school life yaois when i was a teen but now that i'm in my twenties it doesn't sit as right with me anymore,,, so please if you have 18+ characters and consent (!!!), i'm sold!

and yuri;
i, to this day have not found a single yuri that resonated with me as strongly as yaoi does... although i'm a lesbian (😕😕??) help i can't seem to find a manga/manhua/manhwa/donghua/anime/ova/younameit with female characters that don't look like toddlers 😕? like super tiny girls with very very big eyes and breasts but kinda seem like children? do you have any yuri recomendations with adult women ? i liked the lesbian couple in a webtoon called something like Mister O (first time seeing some body diversity !!),, but thats all ive got for now !
so if you feel like sharing your favourite yuris,, please do !!!

let me know if im doing the whole forum thing wrong ahahaha and thanks to whoever reads or answers this xx

BL
Kemono Asobi
Home Far Away (my fav BL ^^ i think you should read mangas with same artist)
Checkmate
Under The Greenlight (I don't sure but i think this BL is ok)
Boku ga Otto ni Deau made (僕が夫に出会うまで), Until I meet my husband (I cried much when i read this manga, spoiler: happy ending, based on true story)
Banafish (I remember the author confirm it's not BL, but i really like it).
Hope i can help you, have a good day.

I'm exactly in the same boat, so can't help with that. I don't find the child-like design and mannerisms of most manga girls attractive although I'm attracted to women in real life. I would read a yuri spin-off of Love Nest (MINADUKI Yuu) if they ever made one because I wanted to know more about the lesbian couple and they don't look or act like kids.

As for BL, my taste may be a bit different. I like more mature stories and men that look like real people like est em's works (they're mostly oneshots, so they're good if you're looking for a quick read during a work break) and slow burners

Off the top of my head, here are some works I enjoyed:
3 Ban Sen no Campanella
Tonari ni
Koimonogatari
Hidamari ga Kikoeru
Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume wo Miru and its sequel. This one is quite messed up, so be warned if you decide to read it.
Canis Series Gorgeous unique art style
This is an exception to my usual taste, it surprised me how much I enjoyed it despite it having all the usual tropes that I'm not particularly a fan of:
Honto Yajuu

Ghost in the Shell, Murciélago, and Transistor Venus come to mind.

Gunjou features an openly lesbian main character and one that is straight...well, it's complicated. The art style is more on the realistic side, and the story itself is fairly dark.
