I read mostly yuri since guyxgirl or guyxguy romances feel.. icky to me 
I've read some yaoi titles but not my thing. I can tolerate normal guy/girl series if they've good characters, plot etc (though bishoujos are a must!) ((No problem with hentai as long as it's girl-love :3 ))

I have a tendency to criticize necro posting...but I've done worse things. Just need to get my preferences out there if not already made obvious - I favor yuri wholeheartedly. I consider myself straight but nowadays I don't believe in labels so as to limit the amount of potential setbacks to finding someone I can love completely. Hentai works for the mood, but I feel guilty if yuri creates the same effect - it's so pure and full of sugary sweetness that its a personal belief that sexual connotations should be kept from it to preserve its romantic fluff. Weird, huh? That's what this shit'll do to ya. And once you're in you CAN'T GET OUT. Not that I want to or have tried. After seeing yuri romance, any other kind doesn't even come close to how mushy and cute it is.

I picked Yaoi and Hentai.
(For the moment bringing this thread back up. I'll add more to my comment later, after reading some more of the comments, and my headache goes away. Why am I on when I have a headache I do not know.)
