Now one or some of these titles are licensed in other languages, but here is what I like to be license in english (at least officially, though no disrespect at all to translation groups):
Ai Kora
Nononono
Midori No Hibi (If that was licensed in english already)
The World Only God Knows
Natsu No Arashi!
Rival
Onidere
Reideen More original mecha stories needed.
Mangaka-san to Assistant-san Good enough for licensing.
Mahoraba Unsure whether this is licensed already.
Hoshi Wa Utau May have been done in Australia.

These.
And right now I'm seriously wanting Bitter Virgin on my bookshelf. Looks like it has been licensed in China, Taiwan and France, but an English edition has yet to be published. Guess I should have kept up with French after high school 😢

Durarara was licensed by Yen (awesome!), but what I really want are the Baccano novels...just how great would that be? Oh and the classic manga Gegege no Kitarou.

i have a bit mixed feeling, since there is only few translators who can translate manga well into my language. from manga that got licensed, many suffer lost of meaning, lost of jokes, or something like that. but if i could ask a manga to be translated well, i would like to have
hoshi no samidare
mushishi
majo
basically everything that i rated 9 or more in my both reading and completed list.
grammar mistake is intentional, grammar nazis need their entertainment.

All the works by HAGIO Moto!!!!!
Yeah me too!!! ^_^ I'm hoping Phantagraphics (think that's what it's called) will publish more of her stuff.

I wish there was more than just viz and tokyopop doing it for the English-speaking market though.
Vertical, Dark Horse, Yen, Kodansha USA, etc. do not exist suddenly?
And lol@ anyone saying licensed manga should never happen. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Other people like it so let them be. And no, English volumes aren't 3-4 times more expensive then Japanese volumes. They're around 2-4$ more expensive then the Jap ones on average, but it depends from book to book and then there's overseas shipping to deal with. And what's with everyone thinking you'll have to wait to read a series after it's been licensed? Many licensed series are still being scanlated. Some are not, but oh well.
Pardon the previous paragraph, but I'm pretty sure ITT we post series we want licensed, not complain about licensing companies.
Other titles I totally crave for:
any classic shoujo
Kuragehime
Oyasumi Punpun
My Girl
Flat
Yeah, totally agree with you there, also double that to the titles you mentioned.
Oh, btw, to people who complain about "lack of quality", the pages yellowing early and looking crappy is not an English manga exclusive problem. A lot of tankoubans' pages look terrible after only a few years. It depends on the paper and such.
Also I like to have print copies of what I read, personally. I buy anything I can afford to and take good care of it. I use raw scans if I'm translating a series I own for one of my friends to read.
i honestly hope that manga stops being licensed in english period. id rather get it from a fan and donate money than buy a english copy. American distributors made to many mistakes over to long a period of time, and still cant fix half of the mistakes.
Sooo...how much have you donated? lol
Yeah, I don't believe most people would donate the cost of a manga ($4-7 depending on currency exchange etc) and still read it for free. I know I wouldn't. I'd just buy the thing and keep it on my shelf. That's supporting the author more directly, I think.

I want Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro to be liscened, as well as Tokyo Crazy Paradise. I would buy the manga in Japanese, but it is out of print. So english copies are my only hope.
