what are some mangas that started out great but as time went on thy got boring, stupid, repetitive, or anything else. Here my list of those that have fallen for me.

d'grayman - dropped it about 20 chaps ago i hate the art change and find it stupid now

Air gear- close to dropping use to be funny and cool but turned stupid since the obama bitch appeared.

Kurihime-I loved this one but I hate the direction its gone in since the last 30 chaps

Inuyasha- finished it only to finish it, I hated the ending of it

ouran highschool host club- I find it boring and uninteresting now

Vampire Knight- started off interesting but now its like a girl only manga feels like twilight

kekkaishi- Liked it at 1st but then it went to shit then got back up now im like meh when i see it updated

Bleach- I loved bleach so much when it came out but recently its been pissing me off it feels like its gonna end soon with no damn character development for my fav characters and yet hes still introducing new characters the only way i can see it being good is if it doesn't end after aizen.

Wallflower-It's like really long and nothing is developing 🙁 it was pretty funny in the beginning, but now I found it absolutely absurd.

Death Note is the perfect example of this for me. I absolutely loved the first half of it, and then it became so slow and boring near the end.

I disagree about Kekkaishi. That manga has only gotten better - but was rather boring at the beginning.

I'll add Berserk, Gantz, Naruto, and Hunter x Hunter to that list. I'm sure there are more, but those are at the top of my mind right now, probably because they're the biggest.

Moved to manga general.

Gantz has completely derailed. It feels like the mangaka threw the plot out the window - I mean, it never had a great plot, but it was keeping all the other stuff running in a way that was easy to get into. What's going on now isn't a logical continuation of what was going on before, and the tone has taken a big hit by giving a lot of characters more plot armour than they deserve.

Wallflower used to be one of my favourites, but like Vampire knight used to be about the art, the quality has degraded. I could write a small book on this, but maybe i'll just mention the ones that in my opinion bore me the most now.

Family Compo. It used tobe actually quite humorous, and it adressed some of the issues that the protaginist and those around him would inevitably have to go through, as well as pure comedy, now, its serious, its lost all sense of the plot, not that it was too clear to begin with anyway.

Devil and her Love Song This manga had so much potential for the first twenty chapters, then all the wit and effort put into it began to drop, and it adopted the whole "girl gets bullied, guy saves her" that shoujo mangas tend to have, its good, but defiently not great as it used to be.

Hadashi de Bara wo Fume .... Why?..How could you do this to us? This used to be an amazing manga, it went over many issues that people may suffer, it was set in the 1950's, the art was good, the plot was good. How could that possibly go wrong? Shoujo-feever attacked, it struck hard. Just when you think that title is the one, the one that will not go into the oh so very common shoujo style, it does it. (Not that I have anything against shoujo, im referring to "Girl gets caught in love triangle, one guy cant have her, decides to kill them both, the other guy saves her, then abandons her, then when she falls back in love, he wants her again) Make. Up. Your. Mind.

Berserk....v3 to v23 is some of the finest manga ever. Downhill from there.

Death Note - The first 6 volumes were so interesting that I read them all in one day. But from volume 7 onwards, things became lamer and lamer. The so-called 'mind-play' became predictable and boring, and Light's 'sensibility' went out the window, causing him to become some kind of deranged weirdo. Don't get me wrong - I have no objection towards the elimination of criminals...but the many, many philosophical and moral issues and implications that could have been discussed, were ultimately shoved aside for the sake of a classic "genius bad guy versus inept but kind-hearted good guys who eventually win because the bad guy was too smart for his own good'' kind of thing. And the ending was the most terrible let-down I've ever had! 😔

SWOT
It's just turning into a fighting manga with characters using even more ridiculous "powers" to defeat one another. Looks like it's going to turn into Medaka Box, which had so much potential to be awesome but the fighting just took over everything with stupid things happening like characters claiming they can hold their breath for 1 month.
No. Just. No.

I've dropped D. Gray Man, Air Gear, and Vampire Knight (why did I get into it in the first place?)

I don't really have much to say other than they just got boring.

The Breaker
started out great...got weird when some randomboob lady forcefeed poison to a young geek...that later turned him into wonderkid AKA godfist AKA awesomeboy ASO
and then to finish it up
when the behind the scenes evil guy becomes so awesome that even Kongming would fall on his face and Kowtow to him
you know there is some sort of problem with the creators

Tenjou Tenge

started out awesome...then it got even better with Shins flashbacks
then BOOOOOM
wtf
they just throw new characters at us every other chapters
they all have to have a big boring explenation to why they are so evil[that takes atleast 2-3 chapters] then they die/loose/change sides like a snap with the fingers
and they all talk like stiff robots that often if not allways contradicts themselves over and over
