Like most people, Naruto and Bleach I can definitely agree with. I liked those when I has maybe 14 years old due to their then interesting stories. As time passed, it became too repetitive and it seems it's still happening today. I dropped those titles a long time ago.

The same can be said for Reborn! and Bakuman. Every time the protagonists defeat/overcome a problem, a bigger one comes up that they have severe difficulties with. These became really boring.

I'll also mention Usagi Drop... After it's time skip, ratings went down and fan appreciation went into a decline, and now that spoilers about the end are surfacing, I'm not touching it anymore.

And am I the only one who likes D.Gray-man's new style? It seems like people are only basing it's art from scanlations. The art is wonderful in the actual books, you know, that you buy. I like the story direction too. But, I'll stop here with praising it. This is not the thread for that.

Bleach is really stupid now. what is with the fullbrings? they should have ended it after he lost his powers. And, he still only has 1 technique

Vampire Knight Yeah.... it got really stupid and theres incest or something now.

D. Gray Man After the lvl 4 appeared, everyone started dying and they started losing really badly and it was kind of stupid to kill off so many people at once. And then after they kill the first lvl 4, which killed like over 1/2 of the people, then the next chapters have them taking out lvl 4s just like that. Kind of bothered me.

Hunter X Hunter I feel as if the writing style has changed. Also, the art was never that great to start with, so its amazing i kept up with the manga so long. These long breaks aren't really helping it either.

Break Blade I dunno, it just doesn't seem all that great anymore.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles- The series started really good, and then, it was like CLAMP forgot what they were writting, cus that story has so many plot holes....and that ending was just horrible...
Inuyasha should have ended at 10 volumes, 'nuff said

Quote from ihavecookies

I'm really surprised that nobody said anything about The One...I mean really, it was so good in the begining, it had everything, from good characters to interesting plot, and now I can't even believe it's the same manhwa. It just got way too dramatic in a cheap-soap-opera sort of way, and now it's not even about the main character anymore...I'm only still reading it beacuse I really loved the first half and I'm hoping the author will return to that...

I know right? I'm still sad about that one! It was so good at the beginning, but then they just started to bring more and more unnecessary drama...

Bleach- even thou I like it, it feels like overly drawn out, just like naruto...
Vampire Knight- it just became annoying,, the heroine completely change- became so dilikeable

Bleach Agreed with all who think it should have stopped

after he lost his powers. Actually I stopped reading after that, don't know if I'm gonna pick it up again someday or not.

One piece Weird, because a lot happened in the big fight,

where Ace went to a better world *snif * etc, etc. And since then, I find myself unable to take an interest in the story. Maybe that's just me here. In a few months, I'll probably pick it up, and I'll have to read 240 chapters to catch up... 🤣

The Breaker: New Waves The story wasn't as interesting as in the original series at the beginning of the sequel. But I haven't lost all hope it will get better from now on.

  • special mention to all the cheesy shoujo I read. ( I know, I'm ashamed. 😁 ) There are exceptions, but usually, if the series isn't already completed, I tend to drop it reaaal fast, because the plots gets quite random. (in a bad, and sadly often dull way.)

Medaka Box
(I think it sort of strayed or something..)

Nisekoi
(I'm really sorry for including this but somehow, i don't feel like it's developing. Just. More. Girls.)

Bleach definite, that seriously is the definition of your question. Like [Kubo] could totally finish Zombie Powder and still be making a lot of money like he is now. But, he doesn't have to drag Ichigo through all this mud and make our little bad ass into some quincy/hollow/human/shinigami hybridi without any character development or real reason.
Also I agree and disagree with Nisekoi it's still good, just too many girls, next we will have Paula falling in love.
Total agreement with [DGrayman] loved the first bit but then it just became too spastic for me to keep track of.

I disagree with Hunter x Hunter. I know that it has changed but I still like the manga a lot.
I know someone will start throwing rocks at me but One Piece has fallen quite low for me. I endured the first two arcs after the new world but it bored me way too much.

As for webcomics, The God of High School has become extremely wtf recently. Made me quite sad when I think about the way it was before.

Bleach.
Tower of God Everything in Season one was good from pace to characters, tests,etc.. But the part two is completly dragged out; the tests are boring, the pace became too shallow and slow, etc...

& many more!
