Well, I'm a hard case to make cry myself...but, I do agree that Full Moon wo Sagashite was fairly tragic. Hm...but I'm not sure. My older sister says Kimi ga Nozomu Eien Ni made her cry..XD The thing is though that everyone is different when it comes to crying...I think the novel for Socrates in Love was egads of depressing, but I've never read the manga, so I can't say about that. I also agree that Saikano was rather tragic.
Oh, well, it's not Japanese, but Deja Vu was a rather bittersweet story. I'd recommend that one for romance lovers.

You may find me weird for saying this, but I thought Shin Angyo Onshi had it moments where one can almost fall to tears. Specially late in the story where the main character has a flashback of the events that led to what he currently is. Anyways, that's just my 2 cents... lol

Ciguatera
Suzuka
Kodomo no Jikan
Mahou Tsukai Kurohime
REC
School Rumble
and some others that've already been mentioned. I'm just a big crybaby. You may not cry during these, my imagination plays a big part when I read manga. Imagination and depressing songs.

I totally agree, especially when major characters die.

Saikano, (would say "is your best bet," but it is rather subjective,) was the only manga that I've read that put my to tears more than once. Sure, there are others that make you teary once or twice, but Saikano is truly depressing (or should I say tear-jerker?).
Elfen Lied made me teary-eyed more than once.
Deep Love series are teary, as well.
Well, it seems as though I couldn't input anything new to the discussion.

Dear Friends and Vitamin. If you want to cry, read those. It was so sad and touching. I cried so much reading it. Got tears on my laptop.
