Really I have to agree there. Based off the fact that she saw Naruto leave to better himself and she was motivated to get better as well. Now if that truely happened is another story. But if she were to surpass him I wouldn't be surprised in the least. Plus we haven't seen her at all so lets hope that she has been "busy training" or on tough missions.

Plus aren't the Sharingan and the Byakugan derivatives of one another? So it would be interesting to see an interaction between the eyes or at least something said. If they were to in fact cross paths (not meaning battle persay).

Ok allot of ppl dont see a reason as to why Kiba's team was selected as the second team to track down Itachi. Well I think its pretty simple: Kiba has great smell, Hinata has great sight and Shino can send his bugs out and get them to "report" back to him with info, they are a perfect tracking team. Shikamaru's team is a strategic one, which was needed for Kakuzu and Hidan, who couldn't b killed.

Its perfect. Kishimoto really worked this out well... The only problem I had with chapter 354 was the cat thing!!! Wat the hell was that!?

remember this mission is to capture itachi, not to kill, so a strategic team would work a lot better than a tracking team.

again, kakashi's already an expert tracker, so why add 3 more trackers to the group when they're not looking for multiple people?
kiba = smell
shino = bug reconnaissance
hinata = byakugan search
kakashi = expert dog tracker

all 4 searcher...plus yamato and sai were pretty damn good in their own units before, hell, being anbu and all they should be able to track well enough already.

if this wasn't a capture mission, it'd be perfect to have hinata's group join in. As jiraya mentioned, more skill and attention is needed to "capture" a target than to kill it, hinata's team just isn't the capture type, shikamaru's team is made for captures with shadow bind.

as for the byakugan and sharingan show down, i doubt hinata will be able to take on itachi, and with kisame she just might do what neji did when he saw kisame, freak out about how much chakra he has and then does nothing... 😕

and the cat thing proves that Masashi's running out of ideas, heck, he's spent how many chapters making naruto do nothing now?...

But if you say that if Hinata can do what Neji did to her during to exam you would have to think that almost any hand to hand fighting (sakura) is useless against her.

Yep sakura would be useless against hinata even with her crazy strenght. Tsunade isn't that strong when it comes to fighting technique imo. Look when she got her ass kicked by oh what's his name (the glasses guy) .

im going to go out on a limb here and actually say that hinata might die in this mission. Its almost about time to really establish sasuke as a true villain rather then jumping back and forth on is he just out for revenge then he will be normal or is he truly gonna be a bad guy. In this part, if Hinata were to die, I believe it would make it a huge impact on Naruto because he already has previous experience with seeing her struggle and blah blah. But yes, Hinata does kick ass and she is > Sakura, gentle fist beats superhuman strength.

that would be soooo kishimoto style if sasuke would kill hinata. naruto would struggle about saving his best friend who just killed probably the only girl which is really interesed in naruto.....(don't really think that sakura is in L with naruto, it's just a lack of an boy called uchiha something^^)

I actually like temari better than all the rest except hinata. She's just not cute at all. 🙁 too tough all the time and a bit scary back in the genin days imo. Heard the owl you scare me . hahahahah im sorry for all the Hinata fans for my blasphemous(sp) post but I really cant help but think its coming. I mean think about it. Every single ninja in the whole series has had to suffer some crucial issues involving loss of loved ones. Except.... Naruto. His biggest suffer since maturing is oh no my best friend is off on his own doing his own thing. I mean Sasuke isnt even established as evil yet so its not like naruto is in moral turmoil yet either. I just see Hinata's death as the catalyst to cause him to really take everything much more seriously. Hinata is my favorite female role because well she is flat out badass and the sweetest. I would prefer Sakura to bite the big one but I think that comes later when Naruto finally goes 9 tails and causes some unlucky enemy to spontaneously combust.
