Hi, I'm in the mood for a story where the heroine is nice, naive, sweet, innocent, honest, pure, genuine, adorable, awkward, has a sunny disposition, the like... NOT to be mistaken with the general annoying and -want-to-hit-her-with-a-brick-because-she's-such-a-sorry-excuse-for-a-female type.

...Also not to be mistaken for the mature type. I'm looking for an adorable, somewhat dubious heroine.

And I'd like that the hero isn't some mad-at-the-World guy. He can be popular, stand-offish, charming, but not like... gothboy or bad boy, if you know what I mean.

basically, where the guy is like a charming womanizer and the girl is all sweet and he falls for her hard... different from the ice-cold girl, or the typical feisty heroine rejecting the playboy, it's the playboy falling for miss pure-as-snow.

Sweet girl is not to be mistaken for some admired serene kind princess type. Such as Nia from Gurren Laggan or Karin from metabots and so on so forth. This doesn't mean she's not nice, just that she's not a glorified lady or something.

No yaoi
No Harem
No smut

...Do such stories exist? D:

Sensei wa Ore no Mono---the girl is a nurse at the school(really cute and adorable) and the guy used to be a playboy before he fell in love with her. Its from both perspectives sort of. The art is good and I really liked it. Though if you intensely dislike student-teacher relationships then maybe you won't. Give it a try though.

It's not the type I'm looking for, though. Domyouji's not a playboy, and Tsukushi's a fiesty heroine... I'm kinda tired of the typical opinionated spitfire tsundere heroines, definitely not what I'm not looking for atm. ^^;

Stroke Material - Okay, the girl probably isn't what you have in mind, but I found her innocent and pure just because she seems so frigid. And she is very cute.
Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero! - It doesn't seem like it at first, but this fits surprisingly well.
Zenbu Kimi no Mono - A oneshot that fits.
Shiranami no Illusion - A oneshot that sort of fits.
The first story in Katsuai - Dakaretai: It's... kind of porn, but she's pretty much the innocent type.
The second story in Forbidden Phrase: Another sort-of-porn, with another sort-of-innocent heroine.

^ I think Zenbu Kimi no Mono soort of fits the bill. I'm gonna give Stroke Material a try as well because so many people keep recommending it in different threads.

But still not exactly what I'm looking for xD;.. I guess it's hard to explain. I don't want the heroine to hate the playboy, or be the emotionless girl who can stump him or resist his advances. Pretty much, I want him to eventually fall for her because she's so sweet and genuine and adorable. As for her, maybe she even has a crush on him, maybe she doesn't, but she's honestly nice to him (Not in the mature big sister way either), and she's not all opinionated and fiesty and "Grr I hate you men!".

It's pretty precise I know, but I'm craving it right now. Blame me and a friend's RP OCs. 8|

I second Mars. It has a lovely plot and it's not rushed, everything seems to fit in the right place. I recommend it! It is definitly on my top list.

Ohhh, by the way, Stroke Material sucks. It depresses me that everyone likes it so much.

Mars, on the other hand, is great! I forgot about that one. I didn't really think of her as an "innocent" type because everyone is very real, but I guess she does fit that type. Anyway, I loved it, even though I hate the innocent-girl archetype and I hate the playboy archetype even more, and together it usually just seems like molestation to me.

You might like Aishiteruze Baby (even though the heroine is a bit cliché sometimes)
Also, I'd suggest Sukitte ii na yo and Boku to Watashi no Henai Jijou (the guy is no playboy or surrounded by women, but he's in an uprising band so it kinda fits ...)

Oh and I've read Mars, and it was good but... not exactly what I'm looking for once again. xD; Though I can definitely see the resemblance.

More frankly, looking for a more "8D" playboy guy against a bubbly sweet and innocent... say, Mayura-type or Risa-type girl.

I've read the first two. I kind of stopped reading Aishiteruze baby because I couldn't figure out who the heroine was and I kinda got bored, was it the glary girl? >o>

I'm impressed that you've found so many strong, opinionated female leads that you've become tired of them. It's pretty difficult to find a manga girl that isn't blushy and love-obsessed and weak. But I guess you don't really want a weak heroine, per se...

I can think of a couple yaoi and yuri titles that might work, but...

I read a couple chapters of Datte Suki Nandamon back in middle school when I was obsessed with Yoshizumi Wataru and, as I remember, it seems to fit. She's cute, cheerful, and not very strong, he's a cold playboy.
Hm, maybe Kiss wa Naisho ni? He's a happy playboy with no depth, she's a cute, sweet, bubbly heroine with no depth. She's not innocent in the Sensei wa Ore no Mono way, though.

Dear Waltz? The guy isn't exactly a playboy, but he does have a girlfriend, and he seems the type to elegantly sweep girls off their feet even without knowing. 😀 The heroine is mature, adorable, sweet, pretty much everything that fits your request. (It's not really a romance [yet?] and there IS a love triangle, but these two are pretty sweet.)
