Just discovered yet another interesting slice of life BL manga:
Kage Aru Tokoro ni The art is pretty bad but the saving grace is the plot. Think of it more like Angel Densetsu's art, if you will. Also, if you liked that, there's also Negai Kanae Tamae by the same mangaka, which is pretty interesting. It's about a yakuza learning to play the piano and more. <3

I've read Yatteraneeze!, I want to become your bird and Okane ga Nai, before... they're all among the best I've read.
I've read No Bra before too... I went and downloaded the raws because I couldn't wait for the translators... it would be nice to have it translated, but the ending... while no one was revealed to be an alien this time 🤨 , ...well I won't spoil.
Bremen I read long ago too, it was ok until the story took a bad turn and suddenly ended, also the relationships didn't really go anywhere that interesting.
I finished reading Rules yesterday and it was good, real good, reminded me of Yatteraneeze! and Sakende Yaruze! both of which are excellent.
Ushirosugata no Natsu no Neko was pretty funny and nice.
Thank you all for the recommendations!
I'll continue reading and looking up more of the mentioned ones.

Oh well... take your time and go through the list. I'm sure you'll find some more titles to your taste. Have fun and enjoy reading! 🙂 That's probably almost everything that's good... there're probably a couple more titles I can't remember. :/

Hmmm... most shounen actually has loads of slashable potential, but you'd have to go look at DJs for real explorations of BL relationships. I would definitely recommend readings some yaoi DJs of shounen manga.
Hmmm... the only one I can really think of is Legal Drug although there hasn't been anything yet (dammit).
There hasn't been a shounen manga with a real gay relationship yet. Kinda sucks, right?
Shounen-ai manga that has some action-type elements:
Banana Fish
Fake
As for gay boys in seinen... well, that's about as likely as InuYasha ending.
(Actually, I lied. There's a gay guy in Eden
but he dies at the beginning

To Lally: Eh well... I've never seen or read about a realistic gay relationship being portrayed in shounen/seinen before(out of the tons of stuff I read). Everything that I've read about so far seems to be about stereotypes(they must be feminine men or otherwise, overly masculine men, etc., etc.) or about making fun of gays and if not, confusing gays and transsexuals. In that very aspect, that can make the manga seem slightly to extremely shallow and eat away at the enjoyment factor, no matter how good the rest of the story was.
Maybe Blood Alone could be an exception but so far, the "gay" part seems to be more along shotacon and errr... non-consensual(that is: a youngish looking vamp hypnoptising grown men into falling for him). I guess you'd have to see how far that kinda relationship develops and whether it'll be based on stereotypes(that is, the stereotypical impression a guy who's never read BL manga or done research about gay relationships will have, of BL and/or gay relationships) or actually be based on a realistic relationship aspect.

Quote from NightSwan
I'll try... you want shounen-ai with a touch of shounen? like action?...
Tenki Yohou no Koibito - no shounen here, but it has comedy and nice relationship...
Uchi no Tantei Shirimasen ka I think it fits...
And maybe Keep out (KISARAGI Hirotaka)Vassalord- shounen-ai and... Vampires^^ and syborgs 🙄 anyway, I really love it.
Maiden Rose action and yaoi and some romance maybe..
If those are fine, I might check out for some more... I'm just not realy sure what you want...^

Try these:
Kimi to Boku - slashable or not, depends on you. Not a typical shonen nonethless a shounen with plot.
Wild Life - one of the main characters is bisexual and hits on the male lead (lol). He is not the stereotypical gay male character in other shounen/seinen manga.
I have only read a few volumes of Switch and can't say whether it's really shounen-ai (or just slashable like Nabari no Ou and Zombie Loan. Again, Yoite in Nabari no Ou is not even male. So you probably can't call it shounen-ai. XD The anime adaptation sucks. Don't judge the story based on it.
