I'm lookin' for a manga with a completely and utterly ruthless main character. (Or even the second main character, just one of the main people.) It would help if they had a great deal of pent up anger too, and that their ruthlessness has some emotion, although, it wouldn't have to be.

Something like the girl in Freezing would work, although without that ridiculous soft side. Also good would be the main guy in Fire Candy, specially in those last couple chapters.

Shamo - the main characters probably the most ruthless main character of all time......or atleast that i've come across
The Breaker - the main character (the teacher not the student) is pretty cold too, you'll have to wait a few chapters to see it though
Akumetsu - ruthless as well
Gantz - he's ruthless when he needs to be
Unbalance×2 - don't be fooled, he's ruthless as well
Full Metal Panic
XBlade - i wouldn't say he's ruthless but he gets the job done
Hajime no Ippo - in the ring he is

Hellsing - Most badass, ruthless vampire ever. He lets people think that they're winning, before totally crushing them.
Island - The main character is a sociopath who is the lesser of evils.
Death Note - Do not get in his way.

Parasyte - From the second volume.
Ubel Blatt - Revenge, revenge, revenge.
Kurosagi - A non-violent sought. Also about revenge.
