From what I can gather about Sakura confession is that it's not really a pity confession, more a confession to try and save him. She knows that he's in love with her now and that he's always trying to get stronger in order to keep his promise to her. She also knows that it's the reason he does so many crazy things and gets beat up.. A LOT!

She confessed to him in hopes that he would calm down and forget the promise and thus not do the crazy things anymore.

Essentially she's sacrificing herself in order to save Naruto. At least in her eyes.

I'm happy that Naruto saw through it and is taking action. I can't wait to see how Sakura will react.

I really should have known she would try something like this. Ever since Sai opened his big mouth and reminded her that Naruto loved her. But even I couldn't have imagined something this...ugh. A false confession? Really? What was she thinking? Bleh.

There was one chapter after around the time when Naruto went 4-tails, when I honestly thought that she actually started to care for Naruto.

After this chapter though... It's pretty clear. She's just doesn't want to deal with the guilt if Naruto gets killed by Sasuke.

I like how Naruto dealt with the whole situation though, and didn't dance to her tune. Maybe next chapter he'll just say that he likes Hinata. She actually risked her life for him.

Even though I don't really like her creepy eyes at least she cares about Naruto. Pity confession is fail. 😔

That was the shallowest thing I have ever seen and was very cruel of Sakura. I would've liked it if Kakashi didnt stop Yamato and Yamato giving her a good ol' slap would be perfect( she deserves it and she can then go back crying to her Emosuke-Kun who will then put his Katana right through her selfish heart)
