sigh I really thought Naruto and Sakura would end up together. I mean Hinata barely made an appearance in the series. I honestly thought Sakura was falling for Naruto. This pisses me off. Well, I'm still gonna keep reading the series, since this is only a portion of the story. But as for the relationships, Kishimoto failed.

Poor Sakura. She gets accosted by Sai and the remnants of the Rookie Nine about being responsible for Naruto's Sasuke obsession. So she comes up with a screwball plan to stear Naruto back to the land of the normal and gets much hate from the fanbase for her trouble--tsk, tsk, tsk.

Honestly, I have not noticed Naruto wax poetic about Sakura since before Sasuke left. I never understood the NaruxSaku shippers because these two just did not "click" to me. After caring for Sasuke in the forest when he got his curse mark the girl was gone and there was no coming back--her fate was sealed. Even her decision to get stronger was all wraped up with her need to impress Sasuke.

I was happy to see that Kishimoto let Naruto see through this "confession" from the very start. It looks like Naruto is going to let everyone know that his drive for Sasuke has little to do with Sakura's feelings and more to do with his own. Sai and the others made her feel ashamed of her love for the Emo and I think that Naruto will help her to hold her head up about her true feelings. No one is going to change his mission and he will tell Sakura not to let anyone stand in the way of her feelings.

I saw something stupid like that coming from Sakura in my opinion that just made her more pathetic. Atleast Naruto wasn't dumb enough to fall for that, he just went up a little in my book. There is no possible way for Sakura to redeem herself I think

Setting the recent events aside, I'm wondering what the rest of Naruto's generation has up their sleeves. You know, Lee, Kiba, etc. I'm hoping instead of Sakura being a Damsel in Distress, we can go back to see her fighting side, like with the whole Sasori thing. Now that Tsunade is bedridden I wonder if Sakura will become a valuable asset. Where's that inner Sakura, oh where did she go!

I just hate Sakura more and more, she's obviously lying. She's basically saying that she likes Naruto because he's there and likes here and Sasuke doesn't even notice her existence.

Perfect chance wasted....I hope she dies in this upcoming war. Her death won't mean much to the plot anyway. As long as the main people are alive like Madara, Kakashi, Sasuke, Naruto, Kisame, Hachibi, Danzo, etc. then there's no need to waste a whole chapter on silly confessions. If we want teenage drama then we can just go read shojos mangas.
