I really don't like either of them. Though I do find that girls tend to like yaoi, while guys tend to like yuri. o_O I have a friend (female) who absolutely loves yaoi, but I don't understand why..

I love yaoi but I don't hate yuri. I've read some yuri/shoujo-ai mangas and came to the conclusion it's not my cup of tea.

Don´t like yaoi, and i´m indifferent to yuri, voted for hate them both since it was the closest choice...

I read a yaoi once in awhile (I'm very selective though)and I tried out some yuri just for the sake of it. Definitely not my cup of tea 🙂 So I'd guess it's Love yaoi, hate yuri one 🙂

I tend to avoid Yaoi and don't have a preference regarding Yuri.

So I read Yaoi stories if they are recommended. While I randomly read Yuri, just like any other manga.

Absulutly luv luv luv YURI! but hate yaoi with every inch on my body it sux! there r 2 many yoai's it takes away from all the yuri's u can't hardly find any yuri stuff anymore. yoai SUX SUX SUX!!!!!!! 🤢

Be nice if there was an "undecided" section in this poll. In the end I chose "hate both." I don't enjoy these types of mangas.

Never read any Yaoi since it's hard for me to finish a Yuri in the first place and once you add to it the childish 'I don't associate with homoerotic things because I'm not gay' mindset, it's sort of a lost cause.

I only have that mindset with two things: Gay porn and (graphic/descriptive) gay stories. I'm too introverted to care about other people's sexual preference.

Exactly what i was stating 😛 But I apologize for the harsh phrasing.
In all honesty, if you're a guy and you read yaoi even for "plot" you definitely have some leanings toward homosexuality, same with girls and yuri, no matter how you try to justify it it, you have leanings toward that direction. Besides there is really nothing wrong with being homosexual at all.

I've read plenty yuri and honestly don't understand why there is such an overwhelming amount of yaoi. And basically I don't read hentai cough(see me reading list)cough, it's something else that's interesting. Well, the only hentais I've ever read are yuri. And yes I'm obviously a guy. Never touched yaoi. Never will! 😀 😎

Yaoi = Hotness. Yuri = Meh.

Not that I have anything against the girls having fun. But as a girl myself, I'd rather watch two guys gettin' it on any day of the week. -^^-
