speaking strictly about the art, which manga/mangas would you say is the best?...and which manga would you say is the worst?.....
for me it would be between Vagabond and Superior.....i haven't read alot to say there the best but, they're certainly the best i've come across so far.....and the worst looking manga i've read would have to be Kimi wa Pet is it just me is the character design ugly as hell?.....although i do like the fact the the artist chose to do something original.... but yeah, what do y'all think?
What I think is in those threads.

Some art-student friends of mine saw the artwork and copied the files from me to use as reference. Asano Inio's use of gray shades and superflat technique is second to none.
I also love the art style of Dogs and Dogs: Bullets & Carnage. It's got a very film-noir feel to it.
Oh! Great also does great art.... especially Tenjou Tenge (chicks are really hot).... but storyline is hit and miss at best.
You could also try Milk Closet.
As for bad art,
.... ever tried Super Cruel and Terrible Tales of Mangaka. It's actually a pretty good read, and the art somewhat suits it, but boy is it dodgy.
I'm also not a big fan of ADACHI Mitsuru.... his art-style seems to be stuck in the 20th century.... and all his male characters have arms that look like Popeye's.

I second Tenjou Tenge. And story is.. a mess 😛 Though it's quite interesting when the series proceeds.
Berserk is definitely one of the best. Though the first 3 volumes aren't that special but after that it just keeps getting better and better. Same with Ten ten on the first Vol.
Vinland saga is pretty damn beatiful too. You can see that it's not his first series. You just got to love the man's work (or is a she, doesn't really matter though).
Best art.. well, I love Souryo Fuyumi's art and people utterly beautiful, esp Mars and Eternal Sabbath. Lee Nicky's art is also beautiful, her bishies in Provence are something...
For me, worst art must be Shounenshoujo Romance, I find George Asakura's art utterly revoltng at times though her storylines are unique.
