Wouldn't do anything its there own opinion but they just lost one hell of a topic to talk about

In the presence of good company, it is good to keep your composure before going all crazy on them.

Laugh it off or ignore them and change the topic. If they're really your friends, they wouldn't press the issue. If they do persist, point out something that you don't like about them. That usually shut people up.

I'd offer to never ever talk to them about manga if they agree to do the same with whatever idiotic fandom they like that I don't want to discuss.

I say manga is stupid to people in my Japanese class because they're so obsessed with (one of them calls it "acg" which stands for anime, comic, game) that aspect of the culture, it's all they ever talk about. And it gets a rise out of them.

I don't think manga is stupid, just the some of the fans. 😉

I wouldn't say anything. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and it doesn't really matter to me if someone thinks manga is stupid. Though I'll admit, somewhere deep inside of my heart I might feel slightly irked.

I will just laugh it off and say they wont understand why I like manga coz they haven't read a really good manga and different people has different interest.....
But, I'm pretty sure my frens will never say it .......

i think i would just tell them "okay then good for you" and we will still go on with our oh so fun life.

Laugh. So many people say its dumb but I honestly don't care.
I'll laugh it off, but if they are willing to listen I'll explain why I like it so much.

this already happened, and it ended up it a fight :/ dont take it wrong. for some reason thats how we solve arguements. In the end we respected each others opinios and just started playing sports

I would tell them that it's not true and then tell them one manga i knew they would like. But overall i wouldn't mind, they'r my friends and i wouldn't truly argue with them over such an issue.

Nothing. But people usually try not to say stuff like that to me not to piss me off.
But I wouldn't really care anyway, even if they were to say so.

If you want blood and gore, there is a LOT out there, almost any horror manga pretty much xD

If they were really my friends I don't think that they would call manga or anime stupid in front of me, thay know how much I love it and I am a bit of a temperamental and sometimes violent girl, but if an annoying person would dare to say that I'll tell him/her, "Well I think that ( point one of his hobbies, soap operas, an awful music type, or whatever they like) is stupid, the he or she would said "but you don't know about _____ that much", my reply would be, "Neither do you about manga", and left the room >:-(
But if I am in a bad mood I just probably punch him/her in the stomach! 😀
