if your friends said manga is stupid you would?

...I'd try to convert them. XD
I've been pretty successful so far with finding manga my friends would like. Then again, I don't generally make friends with people who aren't open minded about eachother's hobbies.

Tell em that all their stupid Asian dramas came from the stupid mangas...
nothing most likely ask them why
but that's their opinion and I'll respect that. but if they say anything truly offensive I'd do something about it but if they say something like this them theres really nothing for me to say except "why?"

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"
maybe... maybe not... but then again all my friends don't regard manga as stupid

They've obviously never read manga and/or not Asian [ 😛 ]
What I would do is paste a Twilight cover on my favourite manga and sneak it in their backpacks. Once they've read it, they'll be hooked. And if they're not, slap them.
But no really, everyone has his/her opinion and I could care less what my friends think about manga. To each their own, I guess (and my friends frickin' love manga so...)

I don't have friends who just offhandedly call things stupid.
But in the end, they're entitled to their own opinion.
That's just silly.
It's not like I delight on every single one of their hobbies.
What do I care if they don't like manga?
We can't all have the same interests.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

Likewise. If my friends were the type to offhandedly dismiss something without ever having seen it, they probably wouldn't be my friends.
However, if someone did say that (I won't say that some people haven't said that to me before) I would begin by asking them if they had ever seen one, or were just making a baseless judgment. If they had seen some, I'd ask which anime they had seen. If they had seen anime in many different genres and still didn't like it, they'd be entitled to their opinions. However, if they'd never seen anything but mainstream crap, I'd ask what their favorite genres were, what kinds of stories they liked, if they preferred comedy over tragedy, etc., and I'd attempt to hook them up with good anime.
The end.

Oh, I get told this all the time. So, I just tend to carry on about my day, picking flowers. 😀
My purpose, is to find purpose.

amour moi et moi seulement
It is not a matter of "if". They say it all the time. But who cares? As long as i enjoy it, i don't care what i do. (I still enjoy making a castle out of sand.)

I'd say FUCK YOU!!!
And proceed to insult their interests, them, their habits, and beliefs. And walk away when I'm done.

I probably wouldn't care.

I really could care less if my friends like manga, because that's not what my friendships are built off of . . .

My friends wouldn't say that because they're better than that but if they did, well, who cares? They don't have to have the same interests as me.

I'd just tell them that they can have their opinion and I'll have mine. I'd be disappointed that we don't share the same interest in that respect, but if they don't then they don't and I'd get over it.
