Again, I'm sorry. I haven't made a topic like this since you last warned me about it.
You're playing with fire dude. Just can it and let the things be. Just stop making favorite/best/most threads.
Exactly.
For example, your Mike Shinoda thread is perfectly fine. In fact, it's probably the best topic you've ever made.
Your other topics, however, just degrade the overall quality of the forum.

Elfen Lied? No one seemed to mention that one.
Elfen Lied's violent, but its certainly not the most violent. Its little more than loads of blood splatters, wheras other mangas have much more graphic, detailed violence.
I would also think Elfen Lied would contain the most violence. I see "Ichi the Killer" posted many times. If the artwork is great I'll be glad to read it someday.

dont read much violent ones so....
Nougami neuro. Not violent, but psychologically sick. Good enough to drive me crazy. Had a few cases where i wanted to dig my insides out when I saw X (Sai).
Violent or gory?? Shamo shakes my conscience but at the risk of sounding repetetive, I have to say Battle Royale tops it all. However, Basilisk is one that I second but how come no one mentioned Shigurui?

Harsh... 🤣
Back to the topic...
Elfen Lied is indeed violent, but the way it's drawn.. I don't know..
It's like drawn mice. Doing stuff...
I still think Guntz is really high ranked on violnce (if not on the top...)
Maybe I sould read "Battle Royale" and compare..
Strange, I find these manga interesting, even though I'm agaisnt violence myself~.~
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

If I had a fantasy self, it'd be a tentacle monster.

I dont see how nobody said the new grappler baki. In terms of pure violence and brutality nothing even comes close. The criminals in this get so unbelievably messed up I cant help but cringe.

(these 3 being increasingly disturbing and freaky because it's an actual possiblilty in RL...although to some extent, obviously exaggerated)
'd say Ichi the Killer...although that was more disturbing...
Battle Royale was quite violent too...but i thought it was the twistedness of the connotations of the story (and the killings) rather than physical violence which contributed to the "violence" of the manga.
Lone Wolf and Cub is definately violent...i mean it's just killing and assassinations throughout the whole manga....epic battles included XD
(Violent...but sci fi style)
Gantz is also obviously violent...survival/hunting style violence (more action type)
Basilisk....well... ninja fights, assassinations....yea...like a chinese kung fu film XD
Beserk....ummm what can i say...pure violence and pure disturbing...randomness...demons....what can i say

Elfen Lied, without any kind of doubt.
i personally thought it was kind of tame.
hard decision, but i'd say berserk , only it doesn't seem so bad b/c most of the stuff killed isn't human(seperation factor)

I agree. There's nothing you see in Elfen Lied that can't be found in other titles.
I'm stuck between Ichi the Killer or Battle Royale. Ichi the Killer has a bunch of *****ed up scenes with guys literally getting off on inflicting, witnessing, or experiencing pain. And most of the characters are just plain sick, especially Ichi. Sort of violence for the sake of violence. Battle Royale is much more gory though, with the mangaka going into explicit detail for each every gruesome death.
Other fairly violent manga: Berserk, Basilisk, and Eden (probably overlooked since it's more of gun violence and not sword/blade, hand-to-hand, or supernatural violence, but still quite violent.)
