good if you have a tank nearby, i doubt there is some near the place i live, not many weapons either, so i will probably run first and search for a weapon when i ´m safe (using whichever thing can be used as melee weapon to survive while i escape)

well to be quite honest id be dead meat. i live smackdab in the middle of the city , dont have any guns , even though i know full well how to use em. And my apartment dosent fit the requirements of the zombie survival guide.
The most realistic thing i would do is -
grab as much water in bottles,
a change clothes(optional),
and a map(of my own city and one which shows population density of the country ) put stuff in a backpack .
wear my most comfortable shoes and start walking to general store
( walk wont even bother to run, the ppl running around screaming would hold the zombies attention , )
get as much cup noodles (i can eat the cup noodles uncooked , which my friends find a bit weird)or watever canned stuff .
if by chance the store is infested id just avoid it and keep heading and grab any non-perishable food i find along the way.
walk my way out of city and then walk in the general direction of the least populated area or where my map shows has the least likelihood me finding any civilisation.
and just keep on walking
dont know wat comes after that ...

using tanks? how fast can those thing move anyway? those zombies can still move even without their leg so they'll climb up.. and it's just a matter of time before they figure out how to open the hatch.. when they do, the tank will be a moving graveyard(assuming it's still moving)

Open the hatch? You're giving them too much credit. Tanks are nice for damage and they cant be penetrated. Also very little can get in their way. The problem with tanks are...
- Fuel
- Ammo
Run out of ammo and you can run zombies over. Run out of fuel and you can still shoot. Run out of both and you're f**ked.
My solution is a gun, an axe (or some other melee weapon) and make it up from there. Cant really plan too much since there will ALWAYS be something that will screw up your plans

this just my opinion but as soon as u run out of fuel and ammo you become little more than canned food for the zombies which wont waste time to swarm it.
A tank will make a ton of noise and itll attract em . So only chance of survival is get out of tank and run for it be4 they swarm.

Um people, If there are zombies, why not have a tank near by? Seriously, there are army bases everywhere. And tanks are impenetrable, so all you need is some food and some water and you'll be fine.

Ugh, even if you got in the tank you'd have to live/exist with zombies moaning like a foot away from you for 24/7
You'd go insane before you even ran out of food 😔

That is assuming that the zombies 1 know that you are in the tank and 2 if the zombies are so concerned with cracking a tank that they don't abandon the impenetrable ness of it for easier prey. I think that darwinism is still applicable in a mystical world where zombies are around

And your assuming makes what I assume to be very questionable assumptions.
1 That it is realistic for zombies to exist
2 Zombies DON'T have INSTINCT that tells them to pursue easier prey.
This whole thread is based on the fanciful notion that zombies exist, that humans can fend them off, and that we have a choice of what weapons we can use. If an assault rifle, machine gun, and long sharp melee weapons are available, they why the hell can't I have a tank? I would be in way better shape than any putz who tries to fight the damn things with a blade, or axe or even a shot gun.
In reality, which I reiterate this is not, the most logical weapon would be an automobile because they are plentiful, easily procured, easily refueled, and ten times more accurate in creating fatal head trauma than any of the other proposed methods.
So in the magical world of zombie invasion, I will be driving my M1A1 tank. 😎
