There are many manga/novels where the MC starts off as weak and meets strong female lead. Then MC gets stronger than her and the female lead becomes useless.

I am looking for

1. Female lead also continues to get stronger and stays stronger than MC
2. Female MC that gets stronger than male lead

Yandere Kanojo is pretty good in that respect. Also, it's questionable if she's the female lead or if she's stronger than the main character, but Ryoko from Angel Densetsu is really strong throughout the series.

I can't second Angel Densetsu enough! It's hilarious and touching and all around perfect.

As for my recommendations, here are some of my absolute favourites~

Angel Densetsu is one of my favorites! Another good one would be Witchcraft Works. I would love to see more recommendations like it.

Oh, you cannot imagine how long I am searching for such stuff. But my case is worse, because I am looking for female lead, who is physically stronger than male lead 🙂

But I have few recommendations for you:

1. Shield Hero - theoretically it should fit the bill, but practically he is real cheat. It's for you to decide, but this thing (LN and manga, avoid web-novel) is good in any case.

2. Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan: female lead and MC were kinda even but after vol. 8 it shoulf fit the bill. Have not red it yet until this volume myself.

3. Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? - whole plot is set up the way, that MC should surpass his overpowered love interest, but still he is too far from her.

4. Altina The Sword Princess (novel)- this novel should be ok.

5. Boku wa Isekai de Fuyo Mahou to Shoukan Mahou wo Tenbin ni Kakeru (novel) - this novel is pretty good. Male MC is support mage, while female leads are fighters.

6. Master of Monsters (novel) - only if the fact that feme are monsters does not bother you 🙂

7. Yuusha-sama no Oshishou-sama (novel) - surely fits.

8. Risou no Himo Seikatsu - interesting and funny thing 🙂

9. Release that Witch (novel) - male MC has no powers at all.

10. Stunning Edge (novel) - should be fine.
