i dunno about everyone else, but sometimes when reading/watching depressing manga/anime, i need to take a breather from the series itself and watch something light and uplifting. So, its always nice to have a buncha good, light-hearted comedy manga (or manga along the lines of being light-hearted in general) handy. Anybody got some good recommendations? here are some of mine that come to mind:
- School Rumble (ah, my life and blood, love this series
- Today in class 5-2 (good read if you can ignore the lilicon tendency)
- Perfect Girl Evolution (tho the scans get less.. comprehensible as the volumes go on...)
- Great Teacher Onizuka

This is a blatant plug, but I'd recommend these even if I had nothing to do with some of them:

Yotsuba&! is my favorite light-hearted manga, if it's in the context of the slice-of-life genre.

Mekakushi no Kuni (Land of the Blindfolded)
Yotsuba to! (Yotsuba &!)
