How do you feel when getting money as a present?

I'd rather have money than an unwanted useless present. All my friends and family get me money or book tokens if I don't tell them what I want. I do like gifts which show how well someone knows me but considering I'm awful at choosing presents for people I take no offence if others would prefer to just give me money.
The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

Money's all I really want for a present... and anyone that knows me well enough to be giving me presents has learned that. XD

Always ok when the person isn't that close to me. But if they are, it's only ok if they put a little heart or thought into a card or something as well, since I think that's the best part of any gift 😀

It depends on the person.
But really, I like gifts better since I just save the money and do nothing with it. 😀

I hate receiving money. It might be because I have never had a serious need for them and I just can't appreciate their worth, but still, I think this is a really dry gift. Everyone around me knows that I'd appreciate a birthday card or a chocolate the same way as I'd do a bigger present.
By the way, I feel extremely guilty after reading earlier posts about not liking useless stuff. I guess I need to apologize to friends that I have given things like a pan or miso soup for b-day presents 🤢

Depends on the person, If it's someone really close to me i'd be sad and think "you could've given me something more thoughtful... 😐 " but when it's an old relative I'd be really happy and think "Kaching! but this definitely won't last much. " 🤣
