One Piece, Naruto, Gantz, Berserk
i found four of them are the most depressing mangas for me, One Piece and Naruto got too many chapters until now .. seriously, don't the writer know when to stop and facing an end ?
Gantz and Berserk, too many violence and gore, i'm afraid if i'm too much reading these two i will be hating mangas some day ....

Most depressing manga (in my opinion): Saikano.
Anime was depressing too. Ep 9 and parts of 10.
It's so depressing.. but amazing at the same time.
Deep Love (Ayu's story anyway, didn't get to read the other ones) was depressing too. gah

- Deep Love
- Ai-Ren
I don't really consider many other mangas sad, at least not compared to those, they really touched me with their endings and how strong the feelings portrayed was.

Gasp Garden is very very sad - I started crying in the middle of it until the end.
I think Hana Yori Dango might be depressing, too. I watched only the live-action and it was really sad (especially the end of season 1 and the whole season 2).
