Ah damn...if he's stupid..then I'm stupid....coz i kinda think the same way he does ><"...and it is quite depressing...>>
And also....all this and no Ichigo 100%? someone has got to become depressed after reading that....i can't be the only one....can i? o.O

I almost cried reading some parts of Ichigo 100%, especially Satsuki's part. That damn bastard Manaka!!! lol

Other than that, I don't really remember other tear jerkers manga. I will probably remember when I look back at my collection lol.

If you really want tear jerkers, watch anime such as Saikano, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Gundam Seed Destiny (the part where that blonde haired girl died who Shin was in love with), Elfen Lied etc. I highly suggest to that you watch GTO afterwards. For some reason, watching it cheers me up -_-!

@lockhart

Oi oi, use them spoiler codes man >< I was planning to watch Destiny sooner or later >>

Another "depressing" manga for me would be Hot Gimmick. You could say the ending rivals that of Ichigo 100% in other words....CR@P ending

So far for me, I think Immortal Rain wins hands-down, even though the angst has let up quite a bit since the fourth manga.

Talking about Texhnolyze, is Haibane Renmei in the same vein as in depressing/dark? (please no spoilers lol) I am asking cause NiEA 7 was a real joke, when you think it was by the makers of Serial Experiments Lain and Texhnolyze @_@

Is Saikano depressing as in dark? (same no spoilers please)

Hands down Socrates in Love. Very good and very depressing. Same with the drama.

Yeah i found it to be really depressing one of the few manga's that actually made me shed a tear.

Am I the only person not pissed off by the way Ichigo 100% ended?

Yeah, Socrates In Love was soo sad! I actually read that one in the store. It was so hard not to cry. I had to go to the mall bathroom to hide my tears. I bought it the week after that cuz I just knew I had to have it 🤣

I'm not sure about most depressing manga (I'm also not sure if I've replied to this already so feel free to scold me if I have...), but Fruits Basket is always sad. I only own 13, 14, 15, 16, but all 4 of them have made me cry.

I can't think of a manga that's depressing in general, but I can think of ones that have very depressing stories/arcs, such as:

Around v13-14 of Hikaru no Go. I don't wanna spoil anything, but those you read it know what I'm talking about. I actually cried during that.

Also, towards the end of Rurouni Kenshin, when Kenshin is going through his depressed state.

To date, no manga has ever hurt me as much as Bitter Virgin. I was left feeling sick to my stomach, and I had trouble sleeping for several days.

bitter virgin was also really depressing in the beginning for me too, but as it went on it seemed to get more lighthearted as it went on, maybe it was just me?
