Prominent female characters in BL

They're an unpopular group, but I've always been fond of girls in BL. Most of them are likeably brash and dominant, and convenient self-inserts.
But in a world where guy-guy loving takes center stage, the fairer sex is sadly rare. So rare that I have to call upon the masterminds at MU to search them out.
Ideally, they could be the narrators, like in the third story of Illumination.
I also like stories where girls are rival love interests, like in Camera Camera Camera and Mister Mermaid.
My favorites might be the stories where the girls are romantic instigators, like in Lucky-kun, Kawaii Gatte, and Gerard and Jacques.
Because those are called fag hags, and therefore have more in common with me than most fictional females.

I immediately thought of Self Portrait. The same character plays a slightly less significant role in Interval.
Madness definately but she doesn't join the story for a few chapters
I wish I knew more because I love seeing women playing a significant role in yaoi just for the sake of diversity (I mean, obviously I love seeing men but to push women out of the picture completely...) I'm just so happy you made this topic!
