I'm just curious, who are your favorite authors? I say mine are Orson Scott Card, James Rollins, Kurt Vonnegut, and the team of Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child.

I like Orson Scott Card as well. My other favs are; Robert Jordan (hope he lives long enough to complete the Wheel of Time,) David Eddings ( the author that got me started reading,) L.E Modesitt Jr, Ed Greenwood, and various other fantasy/scifi authors.

Didn't Robert Jordan die?

That's a never ending list 😁 I've got loads of them: Oscar Wilde, Tess Gerritsen (although lately I've read the first book she ever wrote and stopped fangirling over her works), Paulo Coelho, Shakespeare, Haruki Murakami, Tad Williams, JK Rowling. Plus a few Polish authors, but since their works are in Polish only, I don't think that it's necessary to mention them.

Yeah, he died recently. On September 16th.

Not necessarily. David Eddings wrote many books by himself - Malloreon and Belgariade sagas, for instance. Or Tamuli and Sapphire Rose series. Besides, if you're talking about his wife, it was Leigh, not Lee 😉

Thought so. Never really liked Shakespear, I like Wilde's poetry but I never could get into his books.

I'm the opposite. Can't quite get into Wilde's poems, although I love his stories and plays. The man was a complete genius.
