Ive read a lot of romance manga, and I cant find any others that are good. I don't like ecchi or harem and I mainly read shoujo. I hate unrequited love, love triangles and tragedies. some of my favorite are manga like The One, Skip Beat, Dengeki Daisy, Keishichou Tokuhanka 007, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, Love So Life, Horimiya, Orange Planet ect. I'm looking for ones I haven't read yet, so I suppose less popular/underrated manga. (its not that important but its annoying when the love is between childhood friends)
thank you hope you can find something
(iv'e read more than what iv'e listed there)

Houkago Play - dialogue is the strong point as well as pacing imo. but the content of the dialogue is really niche.
Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou - classic.
Koe no Katachi - really good. felt completely satisfied with ending.
Nineteen, Twenty-One - short but sweet. same "problem" with houkago play. dialogue is great but i dont care about cats...
Taiyou no Ie - good but childhood friends.

Haa.... 'k, "good" romance ones, eh? Well, I won't swear all of these meet all of your criteria, but these are the ones I think of as the best overall works (with romance as a main theme) off of my "complete" list....
3 Level Combination, Aku no Hana, Annarasumanara, Basara, Bonnouji, Come Spring, Octave, Orange Marmalade, Sakamichi no Apollon, Toshiue no Hito and Hoshi no Furu Machi (I'd actually recommend any of the number of completely scanlated works by this author, but this one the highest).
Good luck 🙂

Mousou Shoujo Otaku-Kei. This one has an ecchi tag in it, but don't be put off! The ecchi is very realistic, mainly having teens discussing sex and stuff, which is something I find VERY reaistic to talk about as a teen. It is really sweet, and the characters have depth in them. I liked the idea quiet a lot! It was so cute as well!
I was quiet surprised by this manga. The characters felt so realistic, and I could really feel for them. At first I thought it was some gag manga abotu a fujoshi, but it was much more...It also has an LGBT character who isn't played for gags. The conclusion that they all arrive to are so good!

When it comes to lesser known romance manga I would recommend you
Vered no Rosemary (a simple oneshot)
and Fragile - Sayonara Tsuki no Haikyo (subtle romance).
I second Basara and sugest Akagami no Shirayukihime.
Even though Akagami no Shirayukihime hast the love triangle tag,
it never is outright stated or apparent.

Hi
there are a lot of manga that I can recommend to you but go to this page:
https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?act=genresearch
mark your likes and dislikes, choose "Only show completely scanlated manga" and search!
after it's done sort them by "Rating".
start from the top and trust your friends rate!
Vampires are the best!My most favorite is Midnight Secretary but my one and only is Kuran Kaname!
