I'm kind of looking for a manga where the main person wants to do something very badly (like a sport or maybe acting or writing or something like that) and the parent(s) oppose him/her. It would be nice if there was someone to support the hero(in) and they fall in love 😛

It doesn't have to be shoujo though. And I don't mind yaoi or shounen-ai. But please no Yuri~ (shoujo-ai is al right 😛 ). Hentai is not something I like but if the story is good and you truly recommend it then maybe...

I'm already reading W Juliet
(I've forgotten the names of some..)

Thank you in advance 😀

Maybe Full Moon wo Sagashite (singer)

Parents don't oppose here but there is falling in love Ichigo 100% (movie director) and Mahoraba (writer)

Parents do oppose here but there is no falling in love Hikaru no Go (go player)

I have seen hikaru no go... It was my first anime ever 😀 (spoken in japanese)
hmm I didn't really consider it a genre but I guess you could look at it that way.

Maybe I'll give crimson hero and ichigo 100% a go. I saw mahoraba the anime. I don't think the parents had any role at all XD but maybe the manga is different eh? I'll try the manga of that one too ^^ thank you for the recommendations 😀

(I forgot I saw full moon wo sagashite (good example) but I never actually read the manga I'll try that too 😀 )

Maybe I haven't been so clear but Full Moon was the only one I could come up with.

The others three missed something, Ichigo and Mahoraba don't have opposing parents (but main char falls in love while trying to achieve his dream), while Hikaru no Go doesn't have a romance (but his mother is not so happy to have his son become a go player). So they aren't probably what you are looking for but they are the closer ones I could come up.
Mahoraba manga is not so different from the anime, but it's really funny and it has a "true ending" (I can't say the same for Hikaru no Go).

P.S. you're the first person I've ever meet who has read "So long and thanks for all the fish" (I think it's from this the quote right?). Adams is almost unknown in my country. 🙁

Heroin: illegal drug
Heroine: female protagonist (the goody)

The fun you can have by dropping one letter.

edit: Just noticed in a lot of the stuff I read the main character has no parents. (I hit 'post' instead of 'preview' 🤢 )
