How do YOU pronouce manga?

I pronounce it the same way as the Japanese do. I hate it when people say mainega. It burns my ears. It just sounds like they're saying mango without the o but replace it with an a. D:

It's pronounced the same way as in Japanese, in my native language, but...
The funny part is that someone who isn't familiar with the term (which is a lot of people here) would think you're talking about someone who is really freaking drunk, or something. Because the words are really similar. xDD

lol, thats very similar to how I think about in my head. Personally Ive only said it once out loud and it sounded kinda weird. oh well... I tend to keep my manga reading hobby to myself so really dont talk to anyone about it, thats why its so weird when I say it out load. 🤣

Do you really speak it "monga"? o_o Because I always spoke like "manga", and my Japanese teacher, who is Japanese herself speaks "manga" as well.
I'm not native English speaker, so I may be misunderstanding it...
So I've not voted yet, as I don't really know how you speak.
Anyway, how do you speak anime? I speak it like "ah ~ nee ~ meh", but some friends of mine say "ah ~ nee ~ mee".

i think it's pronounce an-nee-meh but i say an-uh-may
but i say manga right though, dont know why just always thought man-guh or main-ga never sounded right
