this is not a completely impossible hope but its gonna be very hard but i am gonna say i hope australia get through, cos we wont live it down if new zealand make it and we dont. but i hope the germany v ghana match goes our way cos we need it

If the US, or any other teams, keeps scoring at the last min like this, I'll probably get heart attack. GO USA!!! I'm so proud of ya! 🙂 Now Germany, get through the group too so I can be happy twice today. 😎

That USA match was amazing. I never felt such a swing of emotions when I've watched sports. It really felt like one of those days. Being robbed of another goal, missing golden opportunities to score. Then, Landon Donovan just lifted the spirits of an entire nation with that stoppage time goal. The greatest moment I've ever witnessed watching sports. The second greatest moment is when I saw my Florida Marlins beat the Yankees in New York, in Game 6 of the World Series, but that wasn't even half as great as this. It's moments like this that makes the World Cup the greatest sports tournament in the world.

England finally produced the results we were looking for. Rooney did his job this time lol.
The USA match was crazy, i thought they were out. USA is the dark horse in this race. Seriously...

I almost had a heartattack watching USA's game.
But when Donovan scored that goal, I was jumping out of my seat! 8D!

Oh the USA have been quiet unlucky when you think about it.
Their only luck was their "goal" against England. And perhaps that last min goal today, but they deserved a goal that game because their first goal was no where near offside and they had quiet a few decent chances.
They should have won their second game too.
It all depends who they play next round. If they end up playing Germany... 🤣

Yup, I'm hoping that Germany wins their group. Not that I don't have confidence in USA. After a win like that, you got to believe anything is possible, but let's not make things harder than they should be. Come on Germany, win the group so the US plays either Ghana, Serbia, or (a long shot) Australia in the Round of 16.
