Shoujo manga.
Originally I loved them but over the years I've started hating the tropes and cliches of it (and I usually love manga tropes and cliches).

I feel ya
In shoujo especially, there are a lot you have to dig through, but I love shoujo only because I read good shoujo.
You should try:
The Pale Horse A really beautiful webtoon, one of the best art I've seen. The story's slow at first, but builds up in tension, plot + twists. it's not as juvenile as it seems, cause I heard it gets messed up later on.
Annarasumanara o...mg... Ha Il Kwon is my god. Please check out his other work like My Heart is Beating and etc.
Bitou Lollipop I really like this work. It's not complete yet, but I love the way the mangaka tells stories. She is well known for Six Half, which everyone is crazy over but I like Bitou Lollipop better.
Flowers of Evil idk the beginning is weird and the incest thing is gross but it's a beautiful story. This is the type of story that really shone on my second read through because of the "hidden meanings" and foreshadowings that you never noticed the first time through. Savage Garden was quite popular, not too shabby either.
Tomodachi no Hanashi Very cute series. Idk, this might be the shoujo trope you hate but I liked it for what it was worth.
OKAY, if you are going to get anything out of shoujo but refuse to read any of my recommendations, PLEASE HEED WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY.
If you're into anime you should watch** Puella Magi Madoka Magica**. Omg. It's really good. I know it will be hard to get through the first three episodes, especially if you hate shoujo, but ep 10 of that show was the fucking greatest, the greatest that I have ever seen in my life (next to Attack on Titan ep 1 LOL). um yeah. if you hate the beginning, keep watching, keep watching, keep watching. It gets so good. The beginning is deceiving.

lol you hate so many genres that I love.
See my previous post for shoujo recommendations~
I'm not such a big fan of josei either, maybe cause I haven't read good ones. But Cheese in the Trap is like one of the #1 series on my list. I thought the artwork was hideous and I tried to read it (twice) and never got past the first page, but OMG JUST READ IT. It's so good. It's one of the few series where I can say there are no flaws in it whatsoever. It's literally perfect.
The Pale Horse is a good historical one.
A Lollipop or a Bullet was pretty good. Not my favorites, but good for a psychological/tragedy.
Annarasumanara has a wonderful atmosphere. the art is abstract and meaningful, but I didn't like the later end parts of it.
Tadayoedo Shizumazu, Saredo Naki mo Sezu this is my yaoi recommendation for you LOL. omg don't hate me. I really loved this oneshot. It is so beautiful. The main character doesn't have such a great personality, is messed up, and it's obvious that he has so many flaws. that's what makes it so beautiful. I think the loneliness in the story is portrayed really well, and packs a lot of punch
first time i read it I was like "what the hell is with this guy? ?? o....k........"
then the second time it just hit me WITH ALL DA FEELS and I understood everything and was like a sobbing mess.
@Tinny-kins, thanks for these recs, maybe I‘ll try some of it(except the yaoi)..
Forgot to mention, the only Shounen ai I am reading is Himitsu no Akuma-chan,well, s/he is cute...

Harem, I don't like
If the main protag does have harem but clear on his/her choice and dedicate him/herself to that one, I can forgive it. BUT if he/she sways between all of them &^^#%^&@$

You want to try giving harem a shot?
Or just a good harem where the MC sways ...
Or just a good harem where the MC is focused on one of the people in the harem?
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos

Fruits Basket is the only one I can name off the top of my head.
I'll edit this later if I can think of more.
EDIT
Fruits Basket - reverse harem
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e - reverse harem
Yoru Café. - My Sweet Knights - reverse harem , and smut.
Enma no Hanayome to Kimetsukerareta Fukou na Ore no Jinsei Keikaku - ecchi
Oretama - adult, and ecchi.
Girls Saurus and it's sequel. ecchi, and I believe should fit.
Love Hina - ecchi. As far as I remember he only shows interests in one girl.
DearS - ecchi (same as above)
These are all harems I was able to get through because I'm also like you where I dislike the MC flip flopping between the other people. I hope you enjoy them.

Hmm... I'll try Fruit Basket! I've wanted to read it since long ago, but because there's harem, and I didn't know what kind, because usually shoujo harem is... whew. But if it's like that, I'll try!
for the other:
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e - Hmm the main chara is too generic of shoujo
Yoru Café. - My Sweet Knights - Not fan of working area background
Enma no Hanayome to Kimetsukerareta ...[/quote] - Maybe I'll give it a try...
Thank you so very much for your recommendation! 🙂

Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.
Gokukoku no Brynhildr
Maga Tsuki
Witch craft Works
Princess Lucia
Rosario to Vampire
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
Tokyo Innocent
Is it for me? Because all has harem...
Hmmm I think I'll try Tokyo Innocent! since I love the mangaka's Zettai Joousei...
The other...
Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai. - The story seems too generic of harem or shounen
Gokukoku no Brynhildr - Have read, on hold. Hehe I'm a fan of his works...
Maga Tsuki - Not a fan of ordinary childhood route
Witch craft Works - Have read, on hold
Princess Lucia - Not a fan of Seo Kouji's works
Rosario to Vampire - Have read, not interested
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - Totally love it
Thank you so very much for your recommendation! 🙂

yaoi
what?
Ummm a bit more than just the word yaoi would be nice ....
Would you rather it stick to only hugs and kisses, so just Shounen Ai, and mild Yaoi?
What sort of stories are you generally like/used to? Dark stories, cute fluff, action, psychological, comical, deep meaningful type, etc .
What sort of characters do you generally like or dislike.
Do you hate crybaby characters, or hate dumb characters?/Do you like kind leads, or emotionally strong leads? Etc.
Yaoi/Shounen Ai can be flexible when it comes to type of stories.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<

I really don't like Mecha, I can't get into it. The whole fighting in big robots seems lame to me and I prefer the actually In person fighting. I also think that when they go into how the robot works and all that stuff I get so bored, it just doesn't spark interest. The characters are usually bori ...
I'm not a big fan of mecha in general, but I've read some series that I really enjoyed.
Hoshi no Koe is probably my favorite.
Sidonia no Kishi - is pretty fun.
If you don't mind GL - Tandem Lover is quite cute and not too much mecha.
Yuri Seijin Naoko-san
I also liked Gunparade March (although I've only watched the anime).
It left some unresolved plot-lines, but all in all I found it quite enjoyable.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.
