ok lets start with the fact that the kyuub is isnt just chakra as they said in chapter 370 the kyuubi is a summon and the only one able to summon him was madara.
also the 4th hokage is dead and in the begining of the manga it does state that the 4th hokage gave up his life to protect the village from the kyuubi and since the kyuubis chakra was split in two that must mean that the evil half is inside the reapers stomach.
and as for the akatsuki leader looking like naruto and the 4th i seriously dont see the resemblance and anyways all u hav to do is look at the head band thats definitly not konohas.
vinceasuma= it could be that those two are just the other two members in the 4th team when jiraiya was teaching them but i doubt it though since his headband dosent look like konohas.
now is it just me or does the leader of akatsuki switch his body into one that looks similar too diedras if u look at chapter 369 u see 6 bodies i belive that these are the bodies of deceased akatsuki members although this is just my opinion.
Also why did pein take an order from some one wearing a coat like the akatsukis

the 4th hokage is DEAD there is no way he is back alive when he give up his life to seal the nine tail.... but then again as jirya said there must be a reason why he sealed only the yang or yin charka into naruto and wasted time on splitting the charka

mayb minato is not a goody goody guy every1 tot he was..it cld be tt he wanted the nine tails evil chakra for himself..and sealed the good chakra into naruto...and for tt reaper jutsu..he cld haf used a bushin to do it like wad the sandaime did to seal the 2 hokages soul forever into the bushin

Well, Pain did call him sensei... and he told Konan that he has no more love for Jiraiya, which means that Jiraiya and Pain were pretty close like that of a teacher to his student. The fact that Pain CAN switch bodies has been boggling my mind. One weird thing that could happen is some chapters later he'll show his "true" body (if the more common one isn't) which is Minato's/4th's. Jiraiya also knows Konan and said she "grew into a fine woman" which could mean that Jiraiya knew Konan when she was still a youth. And reviewing back to the picture of Jiraiya with his students, the girl there does bear some similarities with Konan (don't tell me that they're not because Konan's hair is blue, it's pretty easy to dye one's hair). Well, those are just my own opinions, don't flame.

I will say that since I haven't reread the manga in a long time I can't definitively comment on your argument about the Kyuubi not being a monster made purely of chakra. Although, I will argue that you could think of the Kyuubi and the other monsters that were sealed inside of Jinchuriki as being high-level created summons and since they were created by humans would consist mostly of, "Living Chakra." Whereas, the animal summons that you've seen the Sannin use were probably low-level created summons and thus, needed a physical form.

And the fact that you acknowledge that Pain/Pein can switch bodies. But you continually try to bring up the headband issue as though it were still valid considering the body switch continues to baffle me.

Also, Pain/Pein took orders from Tobi/Madara(?) who we have learned quite a bit of info on recently. Though I will go out on a limb here and say that Tobi/Madara(?) is a ghost leader. Basically, giving orders through someone else while posing as a completely different person around the rest of the group.

you make a good point on the summons and as for pain switching bodies if you look in the last page of chapter 369 u can see that all the machines have symbols by where the head is and all of those symbols look the same
