help, im trying to find other mangas like Aria and Aqua, and I already read Yotsubato...... nice manga, i must say
im desperate~TT

what i meant is, slow paced mangas that somehow are relaxing and (for me) it can give us some kind of happiness....feeling??also some kind of adventure in new world...?? Wow, i dont intend to sound so cliche.....

but honestly dont know how to explain it properly....> <

Yeah, this kind of manga is also my favourite!!!!! : D

Try Amanchu!, +Anima, Mushishi, Blood Alone, Bus Hashiru, Ou Dorobou Jing, Postal Work, Shirley, My Girl (Sahara Mizu), Tengoku no Honya.

hope it helps 🙂
happy reading!! 😀

Personally, I love the anime to Maria-sama ga miteru and the manga (as well as the original novels of course) should have the same effect. The same goes for Minami-ke and just about any slice-of-life manga.

If you really haven't read YKK you're in for a treat, as it's precisely the same genre. Try the same author's other works (PositioN, Kabu no Isaki) as well.

On the yotsubato! end Ichigo Mashimaro sort of works, but it's not nearly as brilliant.

Rather than Emma or Otoyomegatari Shirley is closer to what you're looking for. It lacks the drama from the other two, which are still quite good.

These are a bit more of a stretch, but you may find that Natsume Yuujinchou and Usagi Drop have similar atmospheres.

Hanashippanashi is a little heavier, but the isolated supernatural incidents are occasionally reminiscent of that sort of thing.

Try some Subarashii Sekai or Asano Inio's other works then. Just don't read Nijigahara unless you're in a place when you're willing to think, the atmosphere won't work for you otherwise.
