Yeah. Hikaru no Go. I wish it had gone on longer... but there's been worse. Lets see most of the open ended ones. I hate when stories leave you hanging. I like epilogues, as long as they explain stuff.

i hate the endings where it just leaves things hanging. eg
Sakuragaoka Angels
The Devil Within that sucked big time. it didnt even round off nicely, it just stopped. >:-(

Mx0 (loads shotgun)
Scool Rumble (loads chainsaw chaingun -Gears of Wars mode-)
Daitarn 3 (anime) (darn way too sad, and plain)
BReaction (seriously: "WTF!" or "LOL?" i dont know which of the 2 choose)
Orphen (another BIG "wtf man!?!", very disappointing)

There aren't that many endings I actually hate.... sure, i think some could've been better, but they're mostly okay (I'm talking manga, because most anime, like Kare Kano, Spiral or Loveless, don't have an actual ending since they ended before the manga did, so they're just kinda cut off at some point). What I can't stand are "endless endings".

I just finished reading Zetusai 1989 and I was like WTF?! It can't be over like that!!?!?!? Then I found out it has a sequel, but I can't find it at my local comic store... Darn it!!

Just finished Aishiteruze Baby. Why must the author taunt me with a touching relationship between two characters and not tell me what happened to them? Did they live happily ever after? Did they have their own baby? Did they run away to Europe where they traveled the countryside 'till old age? Did they create a cult?

I WANTED TO KNOW!

MxO for me, it was a rushed ending for sure and I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. I feel sorry for the mangaka though, he never seemed to finish a manga with SJ

I agree that FMA's ending kinda sucked, I hate when series that have been mostly cheerful and funny suddenly have really horrible endings

The last arc of the Hellsing animu was just annoying

But i have to say that the worst ending i have ever read was the ending to Sengoku Tsukiyo
especially since i know the author can do better

I mean the main love interest turns into a tree in the end. wtf?

And basically any ending where the series was setting up a couple and it just kinda doesn't happen, like the mangaka got lazy and didn't want to deal with it or something.

Shaman King and Death Note. I found those very unsatisfactory...

hmm well I have to say I was disappointed with death notes ending as

I actually figured out Nears plan and if I could see Lights mistake then it was obvious! I would have liked some thing more complicated. I don't like sad endings I'm a sucker for happily ever afters so although I loved ! cowboy bebops ending and know if fitted it doesn't mean I actually liked it LOL I don't think that really makes sense but oh well. Paradise kisses ending upset me but I see it does work but I just feel that that makes the whole manga pretty pointless. hmmm what else I think samurai champloos actual ending the last few minutes could have been better it was good but I expected more.
I guess I just have high expectations hehe.
I hope I haven't already answered here sorry if I'm repeating myself >_<

oh and! Vampire girl by fujiwara kaoru it actually made NO sense even when you figured out the poorly constructed ending it just sucked! which was a shame because the series had been SOOOO good!

Shaman king was like wtf.... it didn't even seem like an ending at all, and i actually waited for the next release until i heard that it had been finished -.-

Also mx0's ending didn't fit well because it never actually showed him getting close to his goal at all. but it can't be helped since it was canceled. the author had no fault in that, but im hoping for a continuation series or something like that.

lastly, bitter virgins ending seemed really rushed and it was more gray and depressing than i had hoped
