I really wanted Hiroki to end up with Kiri (Hiroki x Kiri Ftw.). But. He ended up with Oh God...Elis ( I think some people liked it better that way? Anyways overall it was okay will that End. As usual Endings get me depressed). Anyways, then the last few second of the end after the credits... You see them naked on the bed. Wtf moment. I didn't need to see that.

i actually liked ichi's ending,

seeing the supreme masochist "break" was pretty serious and then ichi threw his shoe to kill him. i laughed)

but yea generally most endings are let downs, mainly because the series is over. unless your mai hime, then you just wait until the next time the series is remade 😛

when I reached to the end of Legend of Nereid, my only wish was to find the manga ka and shot her in the head for this crappy ending. she really destroyed the whole of this beautiful story in the last vol. man, it was so terrible. 😢

hated hated hated the ending of Eerie Querie!
It started as a good story, but by the end it was just...um pointless?
I felt the ending was rushed and it didnt nessesarily have a conclusion.
oh and i wasn't very happy w/ the furuba ending either, i felt i left some lose ends, but oh well....@least the story was good enuff to overlook the weak ending.

Producer got bored and made up his own story...the OVA's doing infinitely better.
Rurouni Kenshin anime:
Again with making up a new story...

seriously...feng shui powers blowing up mountains????? wtf people, seriously.

Air Gear anime:
Did they lose funding or something? Oh well, at least it made me start reading the manga.
Claymore anime:
basically the same as with Air Gear...story go left in the middle of and arc, but at least it made me start reading the manga.

Berserk anime:
actually, yeah, same thing as with Air Gear and Claymore
Death Note anime:
I guess mainly just b/c I was rooting for Light by the end of the series (which I think was the intended effect)
FMA anime:
it was good, but disappointing...

B Reaction ended that way b/c it got canned just like Muddy. It's not exactly new either so this probably happened a few years ago. The ending sucked but at least they gave us one.

In addition to that I'd like to add:

Blue Dragon: Ral Grad - the last few chaps were completely rushed and extremely anti-climactic

Tokko - Awful. Worst cliffhanger ever.

Scarlet Desire - Even though it was hentai it had the flow and feel of a regular manga only it had h-scenes (even then it was like 1 or 2), and then it just ended right in the middle of the climax (no pun intended). Oh well this mangaka does like to take his good old time with projects.

DNA^2 - All the build up and tension was crushed in like the last 3 pages.

Yeah, and I am watching it now, but I'm still having the same problems with it that I had with the ending of the first season

mainly Lelouch's complete unwillingness to even consider anyone's ideas but his own...though he did try once, and that did not end well

Second Fire candy, but I liked it more that he left it unfinished rather than pulling out a completely half-assed ending in the last 10 pages.
And I really hope someone mentioned Shaman King.
mumblepatheticexcuseforanendinggrumble...but there Takei could've easily pulled an ending in the last volume,

rather than leaving 32 volumes ending in a COMPLETE cliffhanger . X(
I know there's a 33th volume coming up this summer but still...damn you Takei.

Most of the "Harem" mangas and animes I've read/watched have really crappy endings. But that's also mostly because I always root for the guy/girl that you know they wont end up with.

Most of the animes I've watched have also really bad endings since they are based on mangas and thus many of them are just chopped off in the middle of everything. However, I did like the ending of Suzuka.
