Endings that you didn't like(spoilerific)

Yeah most anime adaptations from ongoing manga have garbage endings. Although I actually liked the FMA anime better than the manga (I know this is blasphemy but the anime had a more mature feel to it IMO) and I thought Trigun and Black Cat were on par w/ the manga.
But, then you have just god-awful travesties like the Gantz anime. The ending was worse than a regular cliff-hanger; not to mention the fact that the manga got 10x better after the Buddha mission.
I was gonna say Inuyasha, but I don't really mind anymore b/c if it turned out like the manga is now, I would've just lost it.

Lots and lots of bad endings to manga, sadly. There's maybe an excuse for this: I think in a lot of cases mangakas are just told a couple chapters before the end that their series have to end because the magazine that whatever manga is running in wants to premier a new series, the readership has dropped, whatever, so the mangakas can't really think out a good ending because they haven't gotten the chance to set one up in the story.
I mean, how often does a mangaka really get to dictate how long he/she wants a series to be? If it gets popular, the magazine demands that it continues (look at the travesty that was the ending of YuYu Hakusho: it was totally written by SJ and they just forced Togashi to illustrate it.)
Anyway, some recent mangas that I've read that had really bad endings were:
Blue Dragon: Ral Ω Grado - Have to agree with the OP: it was bad. So bad and so rushed it was laughable (esp. how Ral was like "so long hot sensei, I'm kinda into a monster now." LOL)
Priceless - Terrible, just terrible. Nothing important to the story was ever explained: either where the girl's mother had gone (or if she ever palnned to come back!) or what was up with her supposed step-father (was he actually her stepfather or not?! ) Instead, for a resolution we end up with a couple that hasn't interacted with one another at all during the course of the manga. Are we supposed to really be satisfied with that? Nothing explained, nothing resolved, and worst of all, no characters we ever grew to care about.
Utopia of Homosexuality - The main characters (a girl and a guy) in the story are GAY. So what do they do in the end? Make them straight! And in love with each other! The manga attempts to offer up some cheap explaination for this: that the guy wasn't "confident enough in his maculinity" or something to love women before this (which is of course why he'd been willing to let other guys put it to him) and maybe the girl wasn't confident enough in her feminity either to be able to love men. What an insult to actual gay people.
Island - A promising seinen series that just...ends. They finished the current saga and decided that was that, it didn't need to go on any longer. There were absolutely no explainations for anything: like what was up with the demons, anything about anyone's past, nothing. All of it still very much shouded in mystery. In fact, the final chapter makes it worse by introducing new questions (that the manhwaga had no intention of resolving)! There was also a half-assed explaination letter at the end which added insult to injury as the writers claimed that they ended it since they wanted to go out on a high note, but if they HAD continued the story, they would've explained everything, oh and by the way, they were also planning on killing one of the main characters! But hey, maybe some day they might write more. WTF.
I also hate the ending of any romance series where the main girl/guy ends up with a jerk (which seems to be 90% of them).

Shaman King... it is the worst, even though I liked it at the first, when I read the ending, I felt that I want to burn the manga...
I didn't read through, but I'm fairly sure it's been mentioned. B.Reaction! had the worst ending of any manga I've completed by far. Might as well have just come over and spit in the reader's face.
I know it was killed, but I'd have preferred if it just died and was left hanging at the previous chapter with no conclusion at all rather than slap that "ending" on it.

Slam Dunk ending was horrible, so much talk about America, yet, NOTHINGGGG

Gacha Gacha - Secret - I expected a complete cop-out ending like Pretty Face but other than that it made the last 30 or so chapters completely pointless.
