Death Note and Rurouni Kenshin

Those 2 are the best Shounen manga I've ever seen, although I only read some of the chapters.

I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

I think the best shonen manga is either Beck or Great Teacher Onizuka.

Personally I think the best I've read is Rosario+Vampire I. But, just emphasizing, that's completely personal opinion. I just happen to enjoy every single aspeAlct of that manga, and it just so happens to be a shounen 🙂

Also, would like to point out that HxH is far from the best. Simply because of the art in certain chapters where it looks like something an elementary schooler drew, along with the constant pauses that last months at a time.

I totally agree about the art. On some pages, its just like doodles and it's like wtf? Also I think the latest arc is cr~ap. Anyways, in my opnion...

For me the best shounen, hands down, is Claymore.

ONE PIECE! (The story, characters, art... Everything's beautifully composed!)

Next up would be Fullmetal Alchemist and Gintama

Previously I was a fan of Bleach and Naruto, but now they get soooo boring (seems as if the mangakas just try to stretch the story as long as possible... The characters just keep beating the crap out of each other without any clear development of the story)

I also enjoy +Anima (very cute story and art), Eyeshield 21 (first sports manga I read seriously), mangas by Mashima Hiro (just nice :3), Soul Eater, D. Gray-man, Double Arts, Tegami Bachi, Sket Dance (hilarious...), Toshokan Sensou, Konjiki no Gash Bell! and a lot more... The list just keeps going on...

Stuff like Claymore, Death Note, GTO, and Beck are not in my list, but they ARE good, I'd say.

For series like Rosario + Vampire (the most recent case), yeah, I enjoy the art, but the story is so-so (I was expecting much more than the usual harem-type shounen...) I ended up deleting the whole folder after not so much consideration... I think Hunter x Hunter is nicer (I only read the first few volumes, and I enjoy it even though the art is inferior)

One Piece without a single doubt....is best shounen

Naruto, bleach and Hunter X hunter are good too

But One piece is good to watch no matter how much times you watch it over and over

I saw the Anime 5 times over and over

and still not bored

Death Note, Claymore, and Beck...sorta hard to figure out the best, but these are one of my favorites in shounen

best running shounen atm is Code:Breaker for me

Full metal alchemist anime is THE AWESOME embodied in 2D J- Animation. I do love Naruto so and recently Kekkaishi..yeah, I am pretty mainstream..
