What is gore to you? To me it's gratuitous violence out of context or as a main focus of the 'plot'.

I don't suppose you could make your lists public then, could you? It'd be a lot easier to know what you have read already, an what type of stuff you like.
My lists were public, but I guess they got switched when Manick updated the format.

So you are not reading Zero?
shame...
no Threads of Time, no Shin Angyo Onshi, no Aiki and no Übel Blatt
Those are my top suggestions
Shin Angyo Onshi and Threads of Time are complete so you may want to give them a try... Let's Bible is extremely short 🙂
Aiki is funny as hell 🙂
and Blatt is Blatt 😃 😃

From your wish list:
Solanin:
the latter half of the story revolves around a death, so it may not fit your "no tragedy" criteria.
Other stuff
Skyhigh --> involves death and somewhat psychological
Emma -- good historical romance
Hoshi no Koe --very good sci-fi romance
PlanetES -- listed as psychological, but I don't recall it being heavy on the psychological aspect (nothing like Monster/20th Century Boys)

I would like to add: The stipulations in the OP are very loose. I am one who prefers to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks, though my lists are there to provide a barometer of sorts.
