.....I never said to have the life on the surface, I said to build a compound covered with strong glass or something. Or possibly underground.......it's the third time I said this......Slowly, we can then extend the compound and slowly change the atmosphere of the planet until we have a Mega structure covering the whole planet.

Yeah, sorry I caught that after I posted. So you are suggesting eventually a domed planet?

I think Titan and especially Europa have just as good a chance of Terraforming as Mars would.
Anyways, I think this is a good topic!

ares6, chill, we heard you. but still, back to the question, how r u gonna introduce nitrogen where there is none?

and ladybrasa, yes, europa is especially loaded in water. in fact, if we switched the positions of mars and europa with each other, we could just have another life-supporting planet

I'm not even going to answer Isrfeal.......

Anyway, we will survive, before the invention of A-Bomb, it was only science fiction. Now we will either built the Dyson Sphere or a Mega Structure on Mars. We got the H bomb, N bomb, Antimatter reaction.

With this partial plasma shield prototype, we can then combine and block most radiation.

But are scientists sure of what Europa's core is made of? I think at present, it is protected inside Jupiter's magnetic field. It would be interesting to fing out what the composition of the liquid water layer is (well, other than water, of course)

Too far. It would take years and years...We have no warp and we have no Star Trek propulsion system...Mars is the closest. Don't even think about the moon[Earth], the temperature varies too extremity.

.....ok.....you need some anti-psychotic.......I'll ignore your expression of your need for attention.....A nuclear powered ship....very dangerous......What we could do, practically, is built a giant self sustaining Space Station.

.....what?.......Nuclear is by itself unstable, let alone using it as an Engine....are we on the same page talking about Nuclear powered engine?

you really need to like.......do something about that habit of being illogical.

...uhhh.....I'm not saying it's unusable, I'm just saying it's dangerous. Submarine and spacecrafts are different, I don't know if you noticed.......The environment in space is much more hostile than the environment in water......one small ripe and the whole ship could crash. Why are you being so illogical? You know there's a reason why there's only a limited amount of nuclear power plant in the world right? You also know about the Nuclear accident in Russia years ago right? Enough said about this nuclear subject.

What we need is a giant mega space station capable of sustaining a large amount of life. Then we will build propulsion system and push it to Mars or other planet, once there, we can built more colonies and base and space crafts. Patience has it's rewards.

Venus appears to be a lot more hostile then Mars with all that sulfuric acid and all. The atmospheric pressure is also too high and it gets too hot. Sounds like a instant death to even land there.

Landing nowhere and getting of the shuttle would be worse. 🙂
I wonder how it would feel to be lost in space. o.o
