Quote from Xiin

Art by Ai Yazawa (Nana, Paradise Kiss), and Tsutomu Takahashi (Blue Heaven, Jiraishin).

I second to this.

I also love the art of Honey and Clover (I forgot the artist). It lifts me from the "anime" environment to a more realistic side.

I hate new new releases of anime nowadays...they just have the same art. An example would be Vampire Knight. Thouh I love the story, the art style was almost the same as with Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Shakugan no shana, Ouran and so on. The palettes used were...err...too bright...too anime.

stuff like to love ru, they are my preference in mangas because i want my mangas to be voluptuous, shiny, and bouncy 😀 When mangas get too real, they take on the negative aspects of reality and get ugly. To love ru has a good balance of real and fake

I really love Kaori Yuki's style.
Mmm, but I think berserk is best drawn. The details, the backround, and simply everything is amazing.

I've also resently discovered that "penguin kakumei" is very well drawn.

I think that Berserk is definitely one of the most artistic mangas out there, but Vinland Saga amazing too. Of course Tenjou Tenge has some pretty awesome art too. Claymore too, though I've only read the last 20 chapters of it since anime covers anything before that. At least I think it does..

I think people will disagree with me on this but I think Mahou Sensei Negima has pretty good art too. I like how the battles are presented and some scenes look pretty damn good, but I guess pretty much any manga at least has a few nice scenes to boast about.

And Immortal Regis quite well drawn even though it's a manwha and always make confused about how I should it read it 🤣

-Deathnote (the art is basically flawless. Imaginative. Clean. Dramatic. Great)

-Alichino (reeeally confusing storyline, but it doesn't matter at all because where the storyline fails the art repays tenfold. It's probably the most beautiful art i'm seen, intricate, delicate, beautiful. Incredible imaginative and original, you'd recognise the style anywhere. And have i mentioned that it's beautiful? It inspires you. It makes you realise that some people out there are capable of achieving this level of beauty in their art.)

-Loveless (for pretty, cute and flawless art. It really fits the mood of the manga, and it backs up a brillaint storyline and an absolutely irresistible cast of characters. The art is seriously beautiful. Loveless is the kind of manga there's no point in downloading or borrowing at the library, because you'll want to read it over and over and over and always have it in your shelf, sometimes even just to look at the art. It's THAT good.)

-Nekota Yonezou art. She writes yaoi, so be warned, but she writes mighty pretty yaoi. her art is simply beautiful, attractive, alluring. She knows how to do her bishies but that's not all she can do.)

-Let Dai (another shonen-ai. But it's a manhwa, and as a lot of people will tell you, those Korean people give those Japanese a people a run for their money. Because if anyone can compete with the art in manga it's the art in manhwa. It's the way they do the EYES man. But they generally have this sense of easthetic that is completely unique. Let Dai is more realistic comared to certain shoujo manhwas, but that only makes it more affective)

There are more. Loads more. This world is full of talent. But...i could go on forever, so i won't XD

I think i'd have to say Gantz. It just really goes for that realism look (as far as it can being a manga), each and every single detail of the characters, their clothes, their faces, even their ears - are drawn to perfection. the backgrounds are also unnaturally realistic and detailed. Love the artwork.
