Hi!
I'm looking for manga featuring yokai, but i don't want to see just one or two sorts of demons. I want to see kappa, tengu, maybe abura-sumashi, not just onryo and rokuro-kubi. And if possible i really wanted to see some tsukumo-gami.
The japanese have many interesting demons and i was wondering if there is any manga featuring them on a regular basis.
Oh and please don't say Inuyasha, i've already seen the anime, but that's definatly the same type of what i want to see: feudal japan if possible.
Can you make some recommendation?
Thanks in advance.

Definitely Nurarihyon no Mago, the story practically revolves around youkai.

Here's a nice start: Youkai category, though it seems that this tag isn't widely used...

The only series that I actually keep up with involving youkai is Natsume Yuujinchou... (the anime is nice too), though the setting is modern-day Japan...
Maybe Hyakki Yakoushou??

Good luck!! I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. 😀

Thank you for all the suggestions so far.
Nurarihyon no Mago and Hyakki Yakoushou seem very appealing, and definatly check them out along with the others.

I'm already following XXXHolic, but in terms of demons, at least the ones i want to see, i think it's a bit lacking, but it's still a very interesting series.
I've been feeling tempted to read mushishi for quite some time, i'll put it on my to read list.
I'll also keep an eye on Amatsuki.
The setting of the manga is secondary, i would much prefer quantity and quality, if a manga series is good then i'll read it.

Rosario+Vampire
Rosario to Vampire Season II

It has all sorts of yokai, but only problem is most of the time they are all in human forms.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
These will surely get me reading manga and not asking more suggestions for the next few months 🤣

Yokaiden by spacecoyote xD

It's about a boy who loves youkai and owns a youkai field book that has a lot of info about different kinds of traditional Japanese demons.
At first when I saw the summary on the back, it didn't seem very interesting to me. But after I finished reading it, it was actually pretty good! I especially like how the author doesn't take herself too seriously 😛
