Quote from ahoaho

I'm addicted to Cocaine. Does that count?

You're a rock star, so it's not addiction. It's part of your regular diet.

I read many many series at one seating...
Most of the series I've finished were read in such way.
Once I find something I like, I either put it nn the wish list or just finish reading them =P

Haha.. Happens to me all the time. Once I get engrossed with a series, I usually like to finish it in one go. It might be that I like to stay up... GTO was a killer. Love the series. 😀

I have to admit the same has happened to me, but not really with a particular series.

I'm addicted to reading. I could die of anticipation just waiting for another chapter of anything to come out. I've read every series I've ever read multiple times, Why I've read all 8 volumes of Silver Diamond 3 times in a row, it took me 2 days but I did it. I then moved onto A thousand Years of Snow.

Now, don't go thinking I just read manga, I also read novels, like Dragonlance and The Dragon Knight series. I can do a 400 page book in a day.

Considering it's already 5am here and I'm still up reading manga online I would say I'm addicted to manga, lol. Depends on the manga though, some have me thinking about what might happen constantly, every free hour is spent devouring the story and I eat, sleep and breath that whole world as long as the book lasts. That goes for western novels as well. I read the final 3 Harry Potter books in one sitting I was so addicted and I devoured a series of 10 (the Belgariad and Mallorean) books in less than 2 weeks. I'm utterly addicted to reading. And chocolate.

Of my manga/anime these had me hooked
Code Geass (anime)
Death Note (both)
E's (both)
Angel Sanctuary (manga)
Akuma no Ororon
Vampire Knight (manga)
Nabari no Ou (both)
X (both)
Vampire Juujikai

I won't list western novels. I have way over 300 in my collection at home and I've gotten immersed in them all at one point.

There's been a lot of series that I've been so engrossed in that I read every volume in one seating... or reading while I was doing other things (vaccumming, ect) because I just couldn't put it down. And then of course there's the series that haven't been completed yet... that I've completely read up to the last published volume... and literally crave for the next.

Nothing like these things have really happened except once I read like maybe three volumes of tsubasa reservoir chronicles at once. Which really was more like I was going back to re-read because I wasn't paying much attention the first time and got confused. 😐 I get bored really easily.

I remeber being addicted to Fruis Basket when I was younger.
But right now my current addictions are:
Vampire Knight [Guilty] (manga/anime)
Toradora (anime)
Skip Beat (manga)
La Corda D'oro (manga)
OHSHC (manga)

I've got way more, but this is good for some of my addictions 😀

Can't really tell, I have a compulsion to read all that is available, so unless it's not interesting at all, I read it all in a go. Ô_Ö

mars
basara
claymore
angel sanctuary
tokyo crazy paradise

i've cried in one or two of those manga...i've also became so addicted that i found myself staying up @ 1 in the morning REreading them without any care to the humongous pile of HW due the next day...

it's the mark of a good author when the readers are so consumed in the story that they can sympathize with even the antagonist (basara)
