I do realize that this is pretty much not going to happen at this point.

Consequently, if Lelouch does have to die, I'm hoping for a C.C. X Kallen ending, though that seems a fantasy almost as impossible.

This series has went downhill in the past few episodes. They are just pulling shit out their asses now. This schneizel plot is so unnecessary.

😮 Well, I honestly have no clue how this series is gonna end. I thought that Charles would be the final boss since he seemed more omnipotent. But it makes sense that it's Schneizel considering how enigmatic (well...not so much anymore) his true personality/motives/whatever was. I have no clue that fate of Lelouch but I have a gut feeling that Suzaku is gonna die. Same might happen to C.C. but not before there's some kind of Lulu x C.C. ending. D; And I kinda hope Nunnally might pop out of nowhere and pwn everybody in a badass manner with a badass knightmare frame--just for the lulz.

The fact that this is actually plausible just shows how badly the second season epic failed. It reduced itself to something that meaningless and incoherent.

@GSDA: It's been like that since the beginning of the season -_-;;. For some reason people are just now starting to realize how absurd it is.

@Walothetacoking: Lelouch remaining as emperor is exceedingly unlikely, in fact, I'll say it's probably impossible (I'd say Kallen ending is as well, but that one still has about a 10% chance for you versus CC's 40 and alone at 50.) He knocked over the black king chess piece last episode, and basically everything that happens to that piece foreshadows something that happens to him, so yeah, a "final nail in the coffin" type deal.

To be slightly more relevant to the thread, I'll once again express my extreme doubt that he will die. Taniguchi doesn't want to do something that will make fans even angrier than they already are. He won't get a happy ending all the same though, just a "satisfactory" one.

if you havent thought of the possibility, here it is lelouch will die. but ..... nunally will become the empress. i know this is kinda foward but i believe this is a very high possibility. just like death note our main character will be killed off. furthermore if this is the case sunrise need to stop wrighting anime, they have failed. also i would like to point out that nunally has been nothing but a hinderance, she held lelouch back and now she has completely turned on him. that witch needs to die, in fact she should of stayed dead.

Well, my prediction, if they were looking to make a good story, would be that Lelouch does not die. If you paid attention, he clearly said "Serve Zero." (Assuming the subs were right>>) That being said, chances are what will happen is that Schneizel will be forced into serving the idea of "zero," such as supporting the UFN, giving more rights to all, etc. The Brittanian empire will break up into separate states, and those too will join the UFN, thus uniting the world. Or perhaps, instead, Schneizel will become emperor himself, and join the UFN under the whole 20% thing or something similar. Lelouch will end up in self-imposed exile of some sort...

However, what I really want to happen is that, at the moment before Lelouch dies, through whatever means, C.C. gives him her code, thus forcing him into immortality. I do not have much hope it will happen, though...

I too wish Suzaku dies, talk about complicated, i could never figure out where his allegiance lied, or if he had a brain at all.

Oh and It was a great ending but It was kind of hard for me to see Lelouch die after the entire journey to the top, what makes some people believe him to be alive? We saw the way Suzaku shed tears as he ripped him a new one. Or do some people really believe CC made him immortal for that moment, if so it would be awesome just I need more evidence.

That was the last episode right? So we may never know if he’s alive or not.

The "charles code" thing is really just a baseless theory (it's just as terribly illogical as the "Nunnally has the ability to read people's thoughts when she holds their hand" argument). It's possible that CC transferred her code or that his geass evolved into a code, but he would actually have to take Charles' code for the transfer to work correctly (CC took hers because she was dying, it didn't activate because she died).

I do believe that he is still alive though, Nunnally getting a view of his memories is the result of touching an immortal while they are exposed to the World of C, ala CC in season 1. There's a bunch of other information that points that way, but the only thing that isn't logically refutable is that.

I'm actually happy with Suzaku living, but how I feel about Kallen still being alive is an entirely different story.
