Not explicitly, he was with the prisoners who were going to be executed, but not in the wedding shot. The general assumption would be that he succumbed to whatever fatal disease he had between the two shots, but there's no hard evidence to support it.

if you guys think he is alive, then so be it. if you believe he is dead, then go with that belief. that is just the beauty of open endings. it was probably the best choice to make it end like that. if they showed clearly that the driver was lelouch then a lot of questions are going to be asked how, why, when it happened. but because it ended the way the author wanted it to end, we just have to leave it to our imagination. the final episode was epic. the series is going to be classic. zero/lelouch is definitely in a league of his own. you cant find another anime character like him.

i think Xingke is still alive. remember when ougi and nunally are meeting up in the future and shaking hands. she was accompanied by schneizel and zero(suzaku) and i think i saw his knightmare there. they were saying nobody except him was able to control that knightmare. besides, they didn't show him dying yet so it leans more to him being alive still. but it doesn't really matter coz he is going to die in the near future. although he is one badass character.

If code geass is over that would mean pretty much every character is dead meaning they die when the story ends, unless if they plan on continuing the story in the future.
This was perhaps the most fulfilling anime I’ve ever seen, I cant criticize it at all even the ending was great although I’m not a fan of open endings, a story should be clear to the end but this has to be the greatest production of Anime of all time.

I'm quit sure that Lelouch is alive at the end and is with C.C. why?
Simply his geass evolved I mean only those with a immortal code got double eyed geass remember his father or C.C.?... So in fakt he obtained an immortal code in the world of C when he killed his perents... cuz remember world of C is the collectiv will of menkind so it would make sens since the world of c wanted him to "destroy & recreate the world" and for that you need what? power ofc.. also take a look at the end next to C.C. is one of thos things Nanaly always made for her brother...

Not true about the double eye thing, charles only became immortal after he took V.V's code, but he had his double eyes b4 that. The most convincing argument for him being alive i can see so far is that he transfered his memories to nunally, therefore he has the power of C.

While you are correct that the only argument that isn't logically refutable is the memory transfer, we don't actually have enough information about the codes to discern whether or they can be created through a geass evolving. It's theoretically possible that between the time he took over Damocles and the time he "died" his geass further evolved into an actual code, but there's no evidence for or against that either way. You are, however, correct that the twin eye thing doesn't indicate immortality in and of itself (there's also a whole theory around his command for god to "give him a tomorrow", but I'll overlook that since it really feels like grasping at straws).
As I've said before, there's a lot of circumstantial evidence that points that way, but nothing concrete other than Nunnally (it even plays the "active geass" sound effect when she touches his hand).

me and some of my friends believe that, Lelouch is alive... you know when C.C was riding on a carriage. i think that the one driving is Lelouch. thus why C.C talked so comfortably, and such

Lelouch is alive. The transfer of memories to Nunnally proves it. He has the code to live immortally. Plus, he'd fulfill C.C.'s side of the contract, which is to either give her love or death. Since she's not dead, it's love.
Plus, remember this show? It's called R2. Ruruchu (Lelouch).
R2 and C2. ehehehehe.
I don't have much hope for manga that spans more than 10 volumes...

R2 = "Rebellion and Reconstruction", so that's actually irrelevant. Besides, in a series that actually uses roman characters correctly for the most part, why would you use R instead of L. (also, it's "Rurushuu" in katakana, just FYI.)
And yeah, like I've been saying, tons of circumstantial evidence, and the Nunnally thing is hard evidence (I'm sorry, but I've been laughing so hard at the people trying to argue that she can "see into peoples memories" when there's actually scientific explanation for her "human lie detector" ability).

there is an equally high chance that she is talking to lelouch's spirit which basically translates to talking to herself...
I was pretty convinced Lelouch was dead until i thought about the memory thing, now i am about 50/50.
Intresting thing though, ppl in geass seem to die if killed by a normal weapon but tend to survive through huge explosions and such.
Orange - Survives numerous explosions, getting hit by a radiation wave, driven down into the bottom of the ocean and exploding
Suzaku - Survives explosion from lancelot being blown up.
Guilford - Survives Fleija despite us clearly seeing his knightmare being enveloped by it
Nunally - Survives Fleija
Ninja lady - Survives Fleija
Cornelia - Survives getting knightmare blown up and being shot with a sentry gun
Todou - Survives getting blown up
Anya - pretty sure she survived getting blown up too
Euphy - killed with a normal gun
Shirley - stabbed to death
Mao - shot with a pistol
Rolo - died of heart failure.....
Lelouch? - stabbed with a sword

Shirley was shot, not stabbed, you can see Rolo have her turn the gun on herself so he couldn't be incriminated. 3 of the 4 swords died in KMF battles, in addition to the Vampire of Britannia, Kewell, most of the Glaston Knights etc. etc. It's sort of a flawed way of looking at it, and really has very little logic behind it 🤣 .
Anya didn't get blown up either >_>, Orange jumped out of his mech (twice) to knife her. [/anya fanboy]

lol i realize that a whole lotta ppl died by explosions and stuff and that that theory is very flawed but i just find it funny that someone who is supposedly incinerated at the bottom of the ocean under huge amounts of pressure can survive but someone who is shot with an ordinary gun and actually makes it to a hospital room ends up dying.

i believe Lelouch is dead, even if we could bring out all this evidence about Geass memory transfers and such, last shot during the ending credits says it all. it was C.C alone staring at a castle. i think the saying goes a "picture is worth a thousand words" in this instance. 🤣 plus i don't buy that memory transfer thing he did with Nunnally either, since C.C's case and Charles case when they got immortality, they had a Geass ability. and it was transferred to them from someone else who had a Geass ability. i don't recall Nunnally having one on her.
