Air Trek huh, ti sounds like a good idea but we can only believe with the technology we have right now we cannot create Air Trek yet. Its just that Scientist and/or mechanist don't think of these things, they probably have but before making something like it, you have to think about the Safety Precautions and adding Air Treks to the road as motorist. They think of these things before they make em, its far more Dangerous than a Motorcycle, and moving at a speed just as fast can be quite fatal, thats if you are using Air Trek in a Reckless way. Thats mainly what I have to say for now.

I'm not saying that Air Trek can't be made. It is just that inventors don't think about making them.

well, according to the site that izzy gave us, the highest volt available(in the site) is 18.5 volt, and wont fit to our feet unless we get the most expensive one.

wouldn't it be better to have a wind up motor in the back wheel that just increases the overall speed of the wheels that way instead of relying on an engine to keep the wheels constantly moving at the same speed you could rely more on the bearing inside the wheels and the ability to propel your self forward which you most likely couldn't do with an electric motor for fear of causing the gears to break from stress

And in this idea with a wind up motor im thinking that the movement for acceleration would be more like how you kick off on a skateboard -where you pull forward by kicking down on your heel and then start pushing forward on the ball of your foot instead of like an inline skate where u only push forward -
so for exapmle to use the wind up motor u would simply kick backwards and build up tension inside the windup motors in the wheels of your kicking foot while using the momentum from kicking to increase the speed of the opposite foot (like a skaterboard)and resetting your kicking foot on the ground causing the wind up motor to release

also I think a wide wheel would be better suited to AT's instead of inline wheels which are a lot harder to change to directions with also im thinking that the front wheel could be shaped like this
(
so the rider is able to make 45 degree angle turns with more control

what also maybe a possibility with this design is to have the ends raised just slightly higher than the mid section of the wheel so that they dont touch the ground when the rider is trying to go straight to prevent a loss of speed and control

another bonus is this kind of design would be much cheaper than using an electric motor although AT's cost about a thousand dollars in the manga i doubt that it would become a popular sport with that kinda of price tag

^^ A wind up motor implies that you are winding (spinning) the wheel on the kicking foot. During the kick, you don't want the wheels on the kicking foot to spin... you want to push off of them like they are a solid object. That's how you build momentum. If the wheels spin on the kick, then there won't be a gain in momentum... similar to using a natural walking motion while on skates.

well i was thinking it would be more like rolling the wheel back the same way as a cheap toy car the roll backwards and then when you feel the wheel tighting up you let it go and shoots forward or like twisting a pencil inside a rubberband and releasing it
of course you might have to wait to slow down before you reuse the winding motor

also it might be possible to use the wheels as a generator if want to go with a more advanced motor that can reset itself automatically

but either way from my experience using an electric motor severely limits what you can do because it would be heavier and something that moves at a constant speed and relies on an un-natural human to change speeds(ex. using a remote which would require alot of practice to master and is extremely dangerous if it were to break while riding) is much harder to control and more dangerous
it would be like ATs are to in-lines as Dirt bikes are to bmx
which would be the complete opposite of how AT's are portrayed in the manga

They use batteries or generators? I dont really remember.
I have a thought.
Is it possible, that the battery's energy is supplied through several wires? Then, as we exert pressure on a part which is just seperated by a layer of cloth or maybe a electric-proof material, a wire connects. Then as we increase the pressure on the shoes, more wires connect, providing more energy.

Just in case, try not to make Regalias. Everyone wont be using Air Treks for fun, but to KILL or severely injure each other. If they want to mod theirs, let them, though.
