MAKING AIR TREK

wow it's been a few days since my last post lol. kinda disappointed in you guys that there are only 3 comments after my last one. If you aren't really interested in doing some actual work for this, than you have no business even being here. Mcblaise and blakest, glad to see you still you still show an interest XD. Ikki-san has an excuse, cause he's working on the blueprints, but for the rest of you. You can't expect anything to get done if you're not willing to commit to it. I'm extremely tired of the ppl who join this forum and leave one comment, then they are never heard from again. Their comments aren't even helpful, it's usually "hi i'm new to the forum, anything i can do?" which doesn't matter for shit cause after you reply "yeah you can look for a motor or think of other design possibilities" they never fucking read the reply anyway. Again if you can think of any other type of motor that could be useful, bring it to light, i don't care how stupid you think it sounds. As long as it won't stick out the side 6", we may be able to use it lol. Don't be shy, we need to pick a motor asap.

hey guys
yes i'm new but heres the thing i'm doing a bachelor of electronic engineering atm and i belive i can help with some designs etc. I may not have read all the concepts that you guys have gone through as of yet but i am currently designing a motor for said skates.
Also heres another idea - Parts Wars - why not start now with just aggressive skates and incorporate the new skates in when they are completed. Me and my mates have already placed some rules together, are modifying some others, and are currently trying to build a skating community that will follow this new code. There are currently 2 teams being formed on the Gold Coast one being my mates and a tribute to the anime, Kogarusumaru.
Anyways anyone that is interested let me know and i will add you to the teams listings.
Faithfully

idk if parts war is such a good idea at this point, i'm all for a helpful community, but aggressive rollerblading? I love rollerblading, but i would never compete in a competition where you could possibly lose the skates u worked so hard on, not to mention the elevated amount of danger that comes with competition. Plus, one day it'll get outta hand and there will be actual gangs being created and taking territory. Yes I've seen the web page, and i took notice that you ppl were claiming "territory". If it was just parts trading and friendly matches with wagers, that would be fine with me.

the idea of holding the parts wars were as a way if gaining interest, and my group and I are strictly against gangs. we were looking at just friendly competitions and no actual parts bets.
if you look at it parts wars competitions are really just another slant on aggressive skating and sure in air gear its all rather dangerous but thats half the reason as to why there are different lvls of competition which range from high to low skill levels. that is also why we are modifying some of the rules because as far as i know there isn't someone that can jump half a mile into the air from a standstill let alone survive a fall from a similar hieght.
the way i see it is this is a way to gain enthusiasm in a new sport and possibly some intrest in funding for skate construction.
as for motor designs i will get them up as soon as i can as i currently do not have them with me but i may have some ideas on a small motor and control system that will work for our purposes.

Are we putting a motor behind every wheel or just one that powers them all?

we are changing the design for each skate to have two wheels, than we are putting a motor on the rear wheel of each skate.

don't mid the turning by now please...... 🙂
we have to look for the motor first
because its the main part of this AT
don't worry on how to control it because we'll find that out and learn,on the time we have the actual AT
even the braking and acceleration are not the main problem here because if we find the motor we'll have to make the AT in our homes and then you could decide were you want to put the acceleration and the brake, your the one that will decide what your AT will be look like,in other word its a self custom AT 😃
now back on the topic....
guys!please search motors on the web!!!
and don't stop until we don't have the suitable motors! 😀

Just a thought of mine and i'm most of the time thinking very strange things XD
i'm a distributor for pc hardware and just got a delivery of an hdd with over 10.000rpm.
As i know that most hdd are divided in 3 layer and that there must be an engine wo spins these layer, maybe there can be found an idea of constructing an engine.
just a thought ^^
For the Part Wars idea not saying we hould really into it but i kinda have a start on the idea and concept you should check it out http://www.freewebs.com/partwars/
oh yeah register on the site if u really skate and want to get in touch with us

lol wats this... working together now? tokuin first you say you have to make everything ourself and plan it ourself now you come and say oh we need to work together. stop the bs man... you cant just learn judo after reading a book about it... you cant just say your goin to use this part or that motor and end it... someone has to actually make it or plan how its goin to look like as you go... do you think "ikki-san" is god 😕 ? did he gradute from a enigeering school. is he a professional 😕 i dont think so... you rely on ikki-san and try to get away. your the one not putting in effort. who do you think you are dont blame other people for your shit man. you say other people aint doin anything but wat have you done. NOTHING... dont be acting so fuckin high
