I want a manga like where she starts out pretty or opposite way around but one day a guy or girl breaks his or her heart.
here are some examples
-wall flower also know as perfect girl evolution ( an example where she starts out pretty )
-skip beat ( she wasn't really ugly just some sort of change )
-honey hunt (wasn't really that bad looking either )

I realy love the ugly -> pretty girl manga too. There are two that I like, but they haven't been updated in forever. D: This one involves a magic transformation into a pretty girl Miunohri to Swan and this one Gakuen Ouji is about a girl who is actually really pretty, but prefers not show it.

I also remember reading Doubt!! where the girl worked hard to change herself and be beautiful. It was amusing to me because the girls picked on her at first because they thought she was a natural beauty and didn't know how hard she'd worked.

Beauty Pop is probably the best though. Kiri doesn't change herself, but she transforms others and makes them beautiful. <3
