buck is better than banks. as for the ghostwritin bit, rapping is expressing urself wit ur own words not sombody elses. even then it dont mean it'd come out a finish product, perfect example Diddy's Press Play.

I like that ONE song by Kanye West (I believe that was the best choice he will ever make in his career) but I dont really like rap. Its not cause they talk about innappropriate things (most music does anyway) I just get bored when there is no melody. Give me rap with a good melody and then I might like it.

The thing about rap is that it is separated from melody, i.e. it is not a melodic music. It is a rhythmic and harmonic music. That is why it lived outside of the mainstream for so long, and why many people don't deem it music.

Are you saying that that is the only not so good rap you listen to, or that rap in general is bad and you kinda like that song?

dats a pretty good soundtrack. they got mostly indie cats on there, so the lyrics is guaranteed to be on point.

I concur. NFS soundtrack has good driving music. It's not bad for game music.

that explains a lot. I never thought of it that way.

on the rap idea, I do listen to Christian rap sometimes. Its NOT GOOD, but the whole idea just makes it hilarious.

GOOD as in Getting Out Our Dreams. Can't wait for Com's and Nas' album to drop. Carter 3 was just "okay"

thats funny on so many levels, he had the production, featured guests, promotion, and hype beyond that of illmatic, and he STILL can't make a classic album. Common's album's gonna be a treat to listen to, Nas album is gonna be hit or miss, and then there's the mos def and joe budden album for the summer.

SOOO true. It really is hilarious. Especially when you look at the lyrics and compare them with the way it's being delivered... good times, good times.
